Praying for beautiful Aillidh and the Expat family.

PM request for paypal details/ vouchers when you can please.

TantrumsAndBalloons · 29/06/2012 06:44

Praying for A, expat and the whole family this morning.

I cannot pm but giraffes if you read this I have pay pal a little bit of money, sorry it's not more, is there anything else? I mean is there anything we can send for expat or her other DCs, I'm sorry, I missed how old they are? Is there anything they need or want right now?

My candle is burning for A, god bless her and look after her and put her on the road to recovery.

5inthebedPPA · 29/06/2012 06:47

Are vouchers being sent to Giraffes address? If so, have it as sent birthday card.

First thing I thought of this morning, so upset it was not better news. I have a son same age.

Thinking of Aillidh and the expat family.

psychomum5 · 29/06/2012 06:55

popping in with this I have just read. I am scrolling through the thread and am seeing updates periodically.....it is all so very very heartbreaking.

Update from Aillidh's Mum
She is resting comfortably. Line's in and she's resting. Please, please pull for her, that a miracle happens and she heals up by miracle. We need you to be here for her, we're in a very dark place just now

Come on everyone. We can do this. Everyone has been amazing and we can do another day of support, prayers and thoughts.

psychomum5 - I am going to try and PM you.

TimeForMeAndDD · 29/06/2012 07:05

Both myself and my DD are praying hard for a miracle. Aillidh has touched our hearts and is in our thoughts constantly. Keep fighting Aillidh X

northernmonkey · 29/06/2012 07:07

I am wishing more than anything for a miracle!!
I believe she can fight this xxx

rarebreed · 29/06/2012 07:07

Aillidh and family, I don't usually pray, even though I'm a Quaker. But today I will hold you up to the light. Sending you strength and love.

AllThatGlistens · 29/06/2012 07:09

Have lurked on here for a while now, read some invaluable advice but never posted! (coward)

Have been reading the updates on expats little girl and just wanted to send all our love and thoughts to her and the family, wishing for a miracle for Allidih.

Keep fighting little one.

psychomum5 · 29/06/2012 07:10

justfab, thats fine. I am going to be in and out of here lots today...and now about to drag my children from their nice warm beds for school, so dont fret if I take time responding. x

My first thought when I awoke was of A and her family, hope today is a better day xxx

FrothyOM · 29/06/2012 07:17

Poor little girl. I can't stop thinking about her. Will be sending vibes and prayers today too.

JustFabulous · 29/06/2012 07:18

Thanks P. BY 1pm would be useful but not urgent.

MackerelOfFact · 29/06/2012 07:22

Hoping with everything that I have that she makes it through. Can't stop thinking about this sweet, sweet child.

TantrumsAndBalloons · 29/06/2012 07:23

I have shared expats story with my friends at work.
Everyone is praying.

The priest is going to pray for the family on Sunday, the whole congregation will be praying.

We are doing a collection at work and at church. The money will be put in pay pal for whatever is needed.

We are all behind you, stay strong. Xxxxxx

archfiend · 29/06/2012 07:25

Have PM'd CestTout (probably-on phone!). Continuing to wish and hope here. x

swearytramp · 29/06/2012 07:30

Just so so sad. I have just been in to get my two up and ready and looked at them, pink and healthy in their sleep. :( Praying and thinking.

MilkNoSugarAndAShotofWhisky · 29/06/2012 07:38

Just a thought, is there anything Aillidh can't have? I.e soft toys, fabric items etc? Am thinking of infection control

PacificDogwood · 29/06/2012 07:42

I will be thinking of you all today at work.
Hang in there, Ailidh x.

TantrumsAndBalloons · 29/06/2012 07:43

It was suggested last night that we start up a donations thread, maybe that would be a good idea? It could be updated with anything needed and means we won't all be sending the same thing?

TheHumancatapult · 29/06/2012 07:49

Think that's a good idea , know it's not good news at the moment she is on a ventilator now with air leaking from her lungs but they don't know where Sad

A MN poster, must be on the other thread, who is the relative they are staying with, has offered to co-ordinate any gifts sent.

seeker · 29/06/2012 07:54

Could I suggest that sending actual "things" might not be a good idea at the moment- the collecting and dealing with parcels might be an extra job for already stretched people? Maybe things that will fit through letterboxes would be best?

TantrumsAndBalloons · 29/06/2012 07:57

That's probably a good idea seeker

I was just thinking if there was something the family needed it could be posted on the thread and one person could volunteer to send it, rather than 100 people sending the high school musical DVD or whatever.

But I see what you mean about parcels at the post office etc.
