Prayers for Aillidh.

Just wanted to start a prayer thread for expat's little girl, Ailidh, who has been very ill with leukaemia. Just wanted to show our support and pray that her treatment works and that she is back in action very, very soon!

Keep the fire burning, ladies.

From Expat on FB. "Please pray for little Aillidh! She's very very sick. Another spike! She just had paracetamol at 8PM, temp dropped to only 37 and now it's back up to 39.2. This is getting ridiculous!"

I can't do prayers, but healing thoughts and best wishes from here.

Very unwell atm, was meant to be in theatre yesterday but changed to today. Lots of love. She looks terribly unwell just now :(

Thank you giraffe. Lots of people 'can't do' prayers. I struggle but a thought is a prayer sometimes. I'm thinking of you expat and Aillidh

Will do. She just has lost her sparkle, has sunken dark eyes, pale lips etc. She just isn't the Aillidh we know and love. Was going to sit with expat while in theatre yesterday but changed to today. Will go up after work. She is a very poorly little girl just now.

I don't do prayers either. i just sort of will her to get better. Sometimes I talk to her through the window and whisper things we will do when she is better (even though she cant hear me)

It puts everything else into perspective for those of us who are lucky to only be reading about it not living it

I often think of Ailidh and stand by the window at night and ask that things turn around for her and that she be given some luck for a change. Willing it extra hard today.

What a brave, beautiful little girl. All my love and prayers going their way.

Sending my very best wishes. I had a form of cancer a few years back-chemo was horrendous and I was very ill but the though of a child going through that is unspeakable.
