I hope LibraPoppyGirl doesn't mind, but seeing as she sort of "did" a summary for me; I thought I would use her words to start a new thread as the last one was getting pretty long!

It was interesting to find out what the Plural of Phoenix was at the same time - Apparently that's derives from the original Latin - same as Matrix and Matrices. So there you go!! You learn something new everyday.

Prayers for LibraPoppyGirl as well - as she seeks refuge in the ... erm ... refuge and looks to a safe future with her precious family. Protect her, Lord and show her the way she should walk .....

Japan Heavenly Father, watch over your people who are affected by the terrible natural disasters, that have happened in Japan. Lord give them love and strength, to deal with such horrific times. We pray to your Lord, to look after those who have survived and give of your great self, to those who have lost loved ones. In the name of your Son Jesus Christ, Amen x

Caz Prayers for strength for you for help in dealing with these emotions you are going through. Heavenly Father, take of this family of yours Lord. They are precious indeed. Amen xx (DD1 is taking anti-biotics and is doing better, hoping this is the beginning of the end - light at the end of the tunnel ) Prayers for CD's foster mum who is coping with a DX of Atrial Fibrillation and the implications this has for the rest of her life. Prayers too for CD's friend's sister who is in hospital after a horrific car crash. The future is not looking too hopeful so recent brain stem tests have revealed only the top half of her brain is working - meaning that she may end of not having any control over her body whatsoever; but still being being to think and understand everyone going on around her Prayers for her family and friends at this terrible time, esp her DH and 2 gorgeous DD's (5 and 7)

Heal her from her pneumonia and make her well enough to be able to have the treatment she needs, for her breast cancer. My ExH has been offered a full time permanent job. Yes you heard it here first, after months on JSA from Oct 09 to Summer 2010 then some temping warehouse work for 6 weeks before he was laid off again and then JSA again and then some shifts as a doorman Winter 2010 until now, he finally, yes finally has full time work. References are being taken up and then he?ll start. Good Lord will he finally support me properly????

My DD and I prayed for him this morning for this interview and she was so cute praying. My little prayer warrior.

Please pray for favour with the references, that it all goes smoothly etc.

My mum was super sceptical. I cannot blame her after all his lies in the past and nonsense since our marriage broke down. Took the shine off my excitement, wish I hadn't called her

So about your friend and her DD losing their DH / daddy stickyj How are they doing? Was it sudden or expected? Either way, it is just tragic and horrible. So many prayers for them both xx

So pleased your friend is making a recovery from his injuries mangomay, but lots of on-going prayers for his "internal" injuries - he must have seen some terrible, terrible things So to hear about your friend's friend dying in the tragic accident - prayers for his family and friends - how is your friend doing?

DippyLand chugs along. Battling with "nearly 4 year old" DD3 at the moment. Fine for everyone else. Screaming and tantrums constantly for DH or I. So wearing Too hectic. Too busy. Blah. Blah. Blah.

Positive news is, friend's DSis who was involved in the car accident is communicating using eye movements - she can respond "yes" and "no". She knows who she is and recognises her DH and children and family She is having surgery tomorrow to insert 2 metal rods either side of her neck for stability. So progress and miracles are happening Thank you all for your prayers - keep 'em coming .....

Foster Mum is just playing the "wait and see" game with her Atrial Fibrillation. Constant hospital visits etc. Very wearing. Praying for a positive outcome for her very soon. She is amazing

3.15 3.flippin'15am WHYYYYY? ds woke with a scream, screamed for 1/2 hour (shushed and patted on and off usually settles) then I have had company for the rest of the night and am stiff from trying to sleep around a small boy

OH and it is a visit from h today who wants to come to the tip flat

Prayers for your busy-ness Dippy and for the tantrums to stop. DgrandD does the same and keeps the tantrums up for hours, pulling her hair and scratching herself. All the HV will say is:"Terrible twos", but that doesn't even go for your little darling. Maybe she will grow out of it when she is four.

Bob has been in Brompton Hospital for two nights now and should be home between 7 and 8 tonight. Not a word about how it is going/has gone, so I think I will have to wait until they send the letter out.

I heard this on Radio 4 this morning, and wanted to share it with you:

Feeling a bit argh. Long story, but trying to explain to someone who wants to understand but isn't quite getting it, what its like to have Aspergers. And its dredging up feelings I'd rather keep buried at the moment.

Also been back to the Drs and been put on antibiotics.

Cdippy, console yourself that she is good for others. I hope that she doesn't demonstrate her histrionic talents in the supermarket etc. or will you be joining me in pretending that the screaming crying shouting wriggling small body in the trolley you are pushing/ standing 4 foot away from whilst in deep contemplation of some obscure item on a shelf in the supermarket is absolutely nothing to do with you at all. If so you have my deepest sympathy... and come on spill the beans we want to feel better about our little tantrumer too..

thankyou for your prayers. I have coped a lot better today than expected, though have been a bit ratty with h. tiredness and stirred up emotions are not the best combination. Just waiting for the washing to finish, (a "leak" in the car or else I would have left it til tomorrow) and then going to bed

Well, Bob is home, none the wiser for hrs experience. He said they did no other tests than they had done before, but wanted to do a liver test. Not sure what that is about. They also want him back on the 20th March, which is the day after we come back from our weekend in Holland and they want me to come as well, so they will try and find transport for me too. He is absolutely exhausted and is off to bed. I'm not far behind him

I'm having a really really tricky time with DS right now, I hate to use the word but he is being so naughty it's awful. Please please please pray for him and for me about it all. My mum now thinks it's proving her point and I should have been stricter and smacking him lots and I've been too soft again. Gah!
