She likes to chew my nail files.

My cat shags any piece of clothing of mine he can find. He had a snip, too.

No - sorry, mine love nail files too. I always assume it's the microscopic shredded bits of nail that attract them

Mine likes a munch on a daddy longlegs on occassion and has been known to eye up a snail.

Mine puked bits of shrew all over my new, eau de nil sofa yesterday

And - worse - into the radiator.

Yup to chewing emery boards for No1 cat.

No 2 cat strangest habit playing fetch.

No 3 cat eats cardboard boxes.

Maybe one day I'll get a normal cat.

nope mine fight each other for nail clippings.

last night 3 out of the five were crowded around the patch of sofa where ds1 had puked sniffing and licking it (i had cleaned it btw, but clearly they could still smell it)

ds1 peed on the kitchen floor last week and i cleaned it up but an hour later all five cats were rolling all over the patch he'd peed on as if it was coated in cat crack

one of them ate vomit once while i was tending to dd

one of them puked something neon orange on the floor on friday

one of them leaves me pulverised shrews and rats right outside the french doors which i invariably only realise are them when i step in them.

they all eat insects and occasionally will wander up to you with legs hanging out of their mouths.

ClairedeLoon -our mad-as-a-box-of-frogs tortie plays fetch. She did it as a kitten and I presumed she'd grow out of it but still does it aged 14!

We scrunch crisp packets up to make "pointy hat" shapes, throw them and she runs after them, scoots them around with her paw for a bit and them picks them up and drops them at your feet.

+1 one to cardboard box obsession btw.

i left a box on it's side on the counter last week and came back to find one tom cat in it, one on top of it and a female battling the one on top for space.

the youngest tom eats styrofoam

I have one cat that eats Polo mints

I have another cat that eats cheese and onion crisps

And yet another that sits on the edge of the bath flicking the bubbles in her paw at me

My fourth cat is really boring and a bit thick

now the dog.........

She comes in with me, and once I'm sitting comfortably, puts her paws up and pulls my trousers right down to the floor, roots around with her paw to make a nest and settles down !!

Mine both play fetch aswell and do a good line in frog baiting - usually leaving them under the bed at 3 in the morning (have you ever heard a frog scream

urgh! screaming frogs sound horrendous, rellay scary if you don't know what it is.

Also forget to mention our torties liking for elastic bands -she'll sniff them out from anywhere. We have to be really careful otherwise shes been known to eat them and puke them up again (looks like a cross between a tapeworm and tagliatelli )

i can beat nipple chewing.... i'm breastfeeding ds2 and woke up one morning to find one of the cats licking milk from my nipple.

cats are banned from our bedroom too now!

Not as funny but my old cat once ate a frozen chip that fell out of the freezer. She pounced on it and growled at the other cats to keep away. Not the cleverest.

My kitten will chew/attempt to pull off any button she can get to.

Nothing too freaky with my cat.

She loves to cruch flies and drinks daily out of puddles

one of mine played tug of war with me this morning with my bra, finally extracted it off her and whilst I was bent forawrds adjusting myself leapt on my back it's early days yet to know what other weird habits they have......

Some more gems about my crazy cat.

Mine loves chips from the chippie, sweetcorn, rice pud and banana milk.

She eats string. Cue DD's new helium balloon going ceiling-wards.

She loves to sit on bags and in boxes.

She kneads her paws on my blanket.

She likes hiding in the cupboard under the sink.

She is scared of everything but I love her. .

inzidoodle wins that's beyond freaky

My male cat (ripped ear, narrowly missed losing an eye, bit psycho except with dd. Reminds me a lot of Nanny Ogg's Greebo):

• sits in the centre of doorways so the dog can't get in the room. Dog is huge btw and afraid of said cat.
• likes to lie on the top step (so you fall over him)
• has brought in numerous small animals, worst being a shrew. Never realised til then (3am) that they scream.
• oh, he also brought in a bird's agg, perfectly unharmed.

My female cat is just cute and perfect. Altho she does like any mint flavoured sweets.

Both are 16
