Can anyone provide inspiration for a name for our new kitten?

She is a blue moggy, about 12 weeks old. We already have 2 cats which have fairly unconventional names - I am not particularly fond of human names for animals but just wants something that suits. The vet checked her out this morning and said she is going to be very feisty, rule the house and be stubborn! So she needs a name to live up to. She is a dark grey/blue and all one colour (not tabby) ... any ideas would be gratefully received.

Magic

PolkSaladLucie · 02/09/2009 13:42

I thought along the lines of Jane Gray / Phoenix (x-men character)?

bodiddly · 02/09/2009 13:47

Storm was an xmen character wasnt it? Halle Berry?

Buxton - after Dougal and the Blue Cat (OK I think that one was male but never mind). Buxom maybe

Hmm, Moody Blue? Iris?

bodiddly · 02/09/2009 17:29

quite like Moody Blue but it would get shortened to Moody and I wouldn't want to tempt fate and get a grumpy cat when she grows up!

she just jumped on to the laptop so perhaps she is trying to tell me something!

When I finally get a kitten i will be choosing between Percy or Maggie.

I know a cat called Broccoli which I love!

cookielove · 02/09/2009 19:08

I think POGO, it's cute short and snapppy and a bit different?

oneopinionatedmother · 02/09/2009 19:11

Indigo?
Merle?
Morgana Le cat?
Jezebell
Garbo?
Marlena?

bodiddly · 02/09/2009 19:17

ooh I quite like Pogo as it would sound daft with dp's surname and I do LOVE humiliating him at the vet!

I like Indigo as well but that is a bit too close to one of our other names

OP posts:
cookielove · 02/09/2009 19:19

oh yay

bodiddly · 02/09/2009 19:19

will def run that by dp when he gets in

I wanted coco as it would be brilliant with dp's surname but cant really do that unless it is a brown cat can you?
