Can anyone provide inspiration for a name for our new kitten?

She is a blue moggy, about 12 weeks old. We already have 2 cats which have fairly unconventional names - I am not particularly fond of human names for animals but just wants something that suits. The vet checked her out this morning and said she is going to be very feisty, rule the house and be stubborn! So she needs a name to live up to. She is a dark grey/blue and all one colour (not tabby) ... any ideas would be gratefully received.

Or how about 'BadKitten'?

GreenMonkies · 04/09/2009 12:31

Sparrow Slayer

OhYouBadBadKitten · 04/09/2009 12:32

BadKitten.

bodiddly · 04/09/2009 12:32

BadKitten ... I am hoping she will not be a bad kitten! that is like tempting fate!
Similarly I am not looking for another sparrow slayer - my other cats do well enough without help!

I have my eye on a long haired chocolate kitten dp says get a new hoover and he'll think about it!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 04/09/2009 12:36

I, sadly, am named after the ultimate badkitten.

I do love her though oddly enough.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 04/09/2009 12:37

Noddy - buy the kitten and call it Hoover. Job done!

Was going to suggest Pepper as I think it perfect for a fiesty little girl cat, although I see it's already been put forward!

Other suggestions:

India
Indigo
Betty Blue
Claudia
Portia

Love Indigo and India but it is too close to one of our existing cats ... Dps shortlist is Suki, Poppy, Saffy. I like them but they are pretty normal if you know what I mean. I quite like Pepper, Indigo (though can't), Coco, Blue and Grey/Gray. Suki too. Maybe she is a Suki! I like Coco mainly because it is amusing with the surname

The latest are Suki or Cookie!

Suki is cute. Trying to imagine what your surname is - is it Pops (Coco Pops?!)

controlfreakythecontrolfreak · 04/09/2009 22:26

PEARL!

(MY FAVE PET NAME, CRUELLY REJECTED BY DSS)

controlfreakythecontrolfreak · 04/09/2009 22:26

cookielove · 05/09/2009 12:30

where did the love of pogo go, although i do like cookie can't think why. Did have a hamster called biscuit so there is an idea

bodiddly · 05/09/2009 16:01

dp wasn't so keen on pogo .. sorry! Suki seems to be in the lead at the moment ... need a name soon as she is still known as the cat with no name!

bodiddly · 05/09/2009 16:41
