last night i was watching tv and mr blonde got rather loving!!

needless to say we had

all was fine - till we looked up and there were our 2 hammies watching us with glazed expressions on their faces

have i harmed them for life?

i don't know about hamsters but it doesn't seem to bother cats

I am a lifelong hammie owner and a former veterinary nurse.

I can confirm that yes, you have done irreparable psycholgical damage to your hamsters. They will almost certainly develop perversions of their own, of which felching may be one. Thank you for enlightening me as to the meaning of the word: I have an extensive vocabulary but had never come across that one before (no pun intended). Mr Bella and I shall discuss the etymology of felching at supper this evening.
