We recently got ourselves a collie, a rescue dog, who is just the most gorgeous, loving, gentle dog imaginable.

oh I wish it was definite but there is one other family that have walked her. They walked her today but didn't reserve her
we are meeting her tomorrow and if we like her and the other family haven't come back to them then we can reserve her

and bloody quickly build a fence

he is at a canine rescue centre at the mo

been caged 14 hours a day for the last two months as the previous owner had a long hours job

The sooner you get him the better

Just give him loads of attention and cuddles and groom him daily, will all help him feel loved and at home with you

I am going to be sooo upset if the other family ring up and do somehting tomorrow

they have met him but didn't do anything but what if they change their mind before we see him

I am worrying a little about it all now
I can see myself reserving the little darling and then worrying about it still having to saty in kennels for a day or two

I want to bring it home and start to love it and make it secure
god I think I'm too silly for all this

we walked a dog from the same place for dd1s birthday to help
They welcome volunteers to help exercise the dogs and I feel bad that he is still in kennels but we couldn't have that one
he is a lurcher with some deerhound in and is bigger than dd2 who is four on friday
he was also not toilet trained and older than we wanted but tbh the size was just too much without anything else

I know - we got a rescue dog and had to wait a few days for her to be vet checked, which seemed like an eternity. And I kept thinking about other ones we had seen that day.

well not definite till we get there and see him but all looking very good
