swearing at people because they don't give you the advice that you want is not what MN is about.

Troll or not that's not on.

now that you have had the benefit of the doubt fromme here is what i actually want to say...

If you happen to be on a campsite that i take my children to this summer i WILL report your dogs if they so much as snarl at my children and i WILL report you to the rspca if you leave them caged in the hot sun all day long because you have decided to go "off site" all day.

babyjjbaby · 05/06/2008 15:32

yeh well lets fucking hope i don't go to the same fucking park u'll report my dogs if i have them muzzled and under control on a lead then noone can do nothing i tell u what i dunno who u think u r if my dogs snarl and bark then they do they ain't gonna bite u just cos they r snarling or barking get a life and pick on sum1 else

bjjb, by the way, as you have internet access, why not just look for campsites online then you won't have to worry about what people might/might not think. All the info you need re shops, attitudes to dogs etc will be on the entry for each campsite.

BlueDragonfly · 05/06/2008 15:39

babyjj, rant away...you obviously need to get something out of your system

OP posts:
babyjjbaby · 05/06/2008 15:50

zippitippitoes · 05/06/2008 15:50

exactly why are you so cross?

my point about your dogs snarling was to make you realise that there are more people in the world than you (and your dogs). From your posts you don't come across as a responsible dog owner.

babyjjbaby · 05/06/2008 16:25

oh so if i am not a responsible dog owner how come he has never bitten noone b4 i have had him for 4 years it's no tme who insists he has a muzzle just to make sure he can't bite anyone and it's not me who won't leave him outside a shop incase he bites anyone and it's not me who picks up his shit dunno what more i could do tbh at least i keem him under control and he has never bitten any1 else but me

OP posts:
BlueDragonfly · 05/06/2008 16:36

from you : "no wonder people abandon there pets everything is so fuckin hard my westie bites and when i takes him out he has a muzzle on"

and: "yeh me westie does bite he is vicious and nasty and he bites me"

and: "my dog biting other people i have had him for 4 years and he has never bitten anyone else only me and my ma "

does your dog bite or not?

YES he does bite but only me and my ma as when he is out he has a muzzle on so it is impossible for him to bite other people or other animals

Exactly the question I was going to ask Mutt. No way would I take the slightest chance with my child.

What was your rant re the kitchen. babyjjbaby? I think you got the wrong end of the stick about LL's post she was talking about ants in her kitchen nothing to do with you.

And why lie about whose house you clean, your father's or your friend's who cares?!?!?

Why do you have to buy food for you, your parents etc when you live elsewhere. I'm sorry but it all doesn't add up.

MN can be a wonderful and very useful site, and has done some fantastic things for loads of people in desperate times. I'm sure being 16/17, a mother, homemaker etc must be bloddy hard and I am in awe of those who cope in those circumstances. If you curbed your anger and took the advice given (after all you asked for advice) it really could be a lifeline for you on here.

CountryGirl2007 · 07/06/2008 17:47

It would be fine to leave the dogs in the car for up to half an hour just to pop into the shop but make sure all the windows are left open about an inch and park in a shady spot. make sure they get water every half an hour or so on ANY car journey.

As for the camping thing, try and find a pet-friendly campsite and put the dogs on long or extendable leads so they won't be in the car. you can also get corkscrew style things you put in the ground to tie the dog to keep him secure (for short periods only when you are with them!)

And if your dogs snarl/growl/bite etc. you really need to get them assessed by a dog behaviourist, see what he/she says and possibly take them to training classes. you need to establish yourself as "leader of the pack" the dogs obviously think they are boss if they think it is OK to bite you.

Good luck. :-]
