Dipper. At one point we had Dipper, Fluff, Mouse, Billy, Ameran, Stoph, Tinker, Paddy, Tab, Wilhelm (a female - dp is useless as sexing kittens), Gideon, Muskat...and two others, memory fails me! - all at the same time.

PeachysAreNotAChristmasFruit · 28/11/2006 22:34

There's something opeculiarly soothing about yelling 'MRS PEAHEAD!' out the back door after a long day

truly there is

AllBuggiedOut · 28/11/2006 22:38

Delia and Nuno

maggymay · 30/11/2006 18:09

DimpledThighs · 30/11/2006 18:46

why do I find this thread so interesting? why?

my cat is called pinky from the book brighton rock by Graham Greene. I aslo call her pinkalena, pinks, sussa, the bitch, the pink bitch or just bitch - but she is one cat with attitude!

(northener - love the names!)

pooka · 30/11/2006 18:51

Meg, Mog and Cain. Used to have Abel too, but....

typhoonsmum · 30/11/2006 19:50

Suzy - DD calls her suzy wuzy puzy

EllieChocolateOrange · 30/11/2006 19:54

Our first cat was called Prettywigs Pattikin! (from a card game we used to have). My Mum was so embarassed at the vet that the next one was Charlotte (although she got called all sorts of things, most often 'The Lum').

Last one was a ginger Tom, called Max.

TeamC · 30/11/2006 20:04

Tasha and Holly - not v clever but also not embarrassing at the vets / cattery / shouting out the back door ...

Also Minty and Floss, both RIP in kitty heaven (my mum's back garden).

Best ones I know are Max and Mini for a brother and sister

Pollyanna · 30/11/2006 20:08

Millie and Maude

RIP Jones (a girl).

hey everyone - there are really good names on here - hee hee!....

PeachysAreNotAChristmasFruit · 30/11/2006 21:34

In allfairness, its many a cat who'll never respond to a name calling anyway- very beneath them LOL!

if you want, change it. They'll come soon enough if they like what you're offering for dinner.

Pixel · 30/11/2006 21:36

Well, my Jenny was named Tabitha when I aquired her as a four year old (elderly owner had died)and she responded to her new name almost immediately. (Mind you, she didn't really answer to Tabitha so that was very odd ). Cats aren't daft and will quickly suss out the best way of getting fed, which is usually by responding to whichever name you decide to call them .

Pixel · 30/11/2006 21:37

Peachy, you must type quicker than me!

7swansaswimmingup · 30/11/2006 21:37

billy
daisy
dodger

maisiemog · 30/11/2006 21:44

All dead now, but my cats were called:

Spongey cat (during time of madcow disease - spongeform (sp sp sp)??/ There was a scare about domestic animals being at risk through petfood - spongie cat

Lisa - turned out to be a boy became Patou

Floyjoy after the Supremes song
Titian nice marmalade cat with 5 teeth
RobRoy after Scottish folk hero
Titus - I liked Tito and others liked Brutus so... he was a lovely big Persian Chinchilla who loved to be very up to his knees in grub and dirt.

PeachysAreNotAChristmasFruit · 30/11/2006 21:45

Yup Pixel, why do you think my typing is so crap? I mean, preview? What's that then?

(In RL I am a spelling pedant who gets comments about great grammar and spelling in essays- sigh)

LisaHy · 30/11/2006 21:56

Dipsy! My 3yr old ds insisted on it at the time, but is a slightly embarrassed almost 8 yr old now. She actually quite suits it.

Whooooosh · 30/11/2006 22:12

Sausage and Colin

Tan1959 · 30/11/2006 23:48
