We're about to get a cat and i have had a real job persuading dd that it CANNOT be called Pussy!! Actually i think we're getting 2 now and the latest is Charlie and Lola!

But he settled on
Thelma and Louise
Thelma is still with us - Louise went the way of the others
Thelbelle (as we affectionately know her) has outfoxed them all. Making it 2 yrs of age.
No more cats after thelbelle though

Timon (he is long and sleek) and Pumbaa (he really is the cat equivalent of a warthog interms of size - 22lbs). They were named as tiny kittens but have certainly grown into them well. Timon can even stand on his hind legs like a meercat.

My dh's cousin has a cat called lucifer for exactly the same reason. Your initials aren't MM are they Lucycat?

Well, I had a cat called Mog when I was little and she was just like the Mog in the Judith Kerr books.

Then I had Lucky, a black cat, but she just died last week (I moved out years ago, Lucky was the family cat and stayed at home) so I gues sshe's not that lucky

Then we had Puss from the CPL, but she was poorly and died too.

Now we have Buster, or as my friends 3 year old daughter called him, "B*stard!!"
