A naked man in the women’s changing room of the University of East Anglia Sportpatk…….
A woman has spoken of her concern after twice encountering a "naked man" in the female changing rooms at the UEA Sportspark.
The woman, who did not wish to be named, said on two consecutive weeks she saw an individual with exposed male genitalia in the female facilities.
But she claims when she highlighted her concerns she was told by staff that it would be discriminatory to query the person.

Here is an apt comment from this article:
A criminal offence - indecent exposure- has happened at least twice in UEASportspark’s premises, in changing rooms that are labelled as female only, but where males are apparently allowed to enter at will.
They know about it but are doing nothing to stop it, in case they are “discriminatory”. It is NOT discrimination to exclude males from women’s spaces, no matter how he identifies.
UEA’s ignorance or misrepresentation of the law is probably because the hard-up university is still spending thousands to be Stonewall Diversity Champions, long after UCL, LSE, Channel 4 and others have withdrawn, knowing that Stonewall training is based on the law they would like to see, rather than the law as it actually is.
This is an example of why the Equality Act needs to be updated to make clear the characteristic ‘sex ‘ is biological.
Many girls and women’s ‘sex ‘ based spaces in the U.K., which are allowed to discriminate against anyone male by sex under the Equality Act, are now really mixed sex in case a man who identifies as a woman, or says he does, wants to use them.
This is on the mistaken grounds that these men are women too, who may even have had their birth certificate changed to say they are female thanks to getting a Gender Recognition Certificate. (There is no need for any surgery.)
Organisations are afraid of being sued for discrimination.
The word sex, which was originally biological in meaning, is now often confused and/or conflated with gender which is social.
