Seriously, after last week and yesterday I was despairing. It seems stern words, threats and beating with a massive stick have worked.

Ds is sulking as i made him come home straight away rather then play with all the kids after school. I feel terrible and the cold air makes my lungs burn. Can't see anyone until thrusday though and not sure how much they can do anyway. Supposed to be on steroid inhaler but stopped taking it as i seemed better and i was exhausted from not being able to sleep. I have bribed him with applie pies and what was left of the fairy cakes. I have crawled back into bed. Cant amke up my mind if am hot or cold though

i was going to take a flexi day for staying off sick yesterday as i feel so guilty about the amount of time ive had off sick but my nice boss said it doesnt matter just take a sick day

i got a text earlier from DP to tell me i had a box from Amazon. i replied saying yeah it'll just be a book i ordered a little while ago.
got home to find something that was far too big to be a book.

Well i opened it up to find a lovely cookbook holder and card from BoF.

I love it! it is absolutley perfect and really made me smile as i have had a pretty cruddy day/week.

dont know lizzy. but as i switching between shivering and boiling at rapid pace and i know have ear ache, i think we can say i have some sort of virus. dont want to take the steroid inhaler tonight as need some sleep but will have to if this carries on. expect crap spouting later if i have to take it. Thankfully it is better when i lie down and rest so going to try to hang out. :( keep dosing off too. poor ds is feeling neglected.

Had to make DS's cake again and his mates have had their grubby maulers over it but just taken finger fulls so I have half a cake with finger marks in it that is inedible

was dosed up to the eyeballs earlier but probably should take some more paracetamol. ds is happy as we have just turned the larva lamp on and he has been told he can help himself to custard creams and an ice pop. I am so lucky with him. He is amazing.
