Grin what kind of cake? im on a diet you know

BitOfFun · 22/09/2010 16:20

I am cooking dd1 pan-fried marinated salmon with grilled peppers, rocket and a roasted pepper dressing. And curly fries.

For DP and I, it will be thyme and shallot chicken breasts with roasted parmentier potatoes, butternut squash and wilted spinach. Reckon we could squeeze in some curly fries too.

Can you tell I've been to M&S today?

VinegarTits · 22/09/2010 16:22

i will be having subtly spiced noodles with chicken and mushrooms and a splash of soy sauce out of a pot

mittz · 22/09/2010 16:24

DD wants crudites with spready cheese and crackers..Smile

DS wants something in a huge yorkshire pudding..

And I am having lasagne and a huge salad...

TrillianAstra · 22/09/2010 16:25

Grin at Vinny's dinner.

I don't know yet. Might be risotto with sage out of the garden, or might be pies out of the freezer.

BelfastBloke · 22/09/2010 16:28

I have M&S food Envy
We have no M&S close by, well, not to just pop to.

I could go to Spar and see what treats they have?

Are there herbs in the garden in your new pace, Trills? Fab.

Only sage, not difficult to identify. I have a pot of (dead) rosemary, a pot of (flowering) mint and a pot of (flourishing giant tree-like) basil too.

bellavita · 22/09/2010 17:23

I couldn't get the phone system to come on to day service this morning Confused, so if anyone rang it went straight to night service and I had so many parents coming in to ask if we were closed... every time I took a stack of messages off the answer machine a load more appeared. This is among the phonecalls (on the internal phone) asking me to get a behaviour manager for kids that were doing xyz, asking me to arrange work for the kids in seclusion (whoops not allowed to call it that now, it is internal exclusion), being asked to call an ambulance - this I refused to do as I had no information and the person that asked me is up her own arse and could quite easily do it herself and she is not stuck to one place in the school like I am. A sick child being brought through to my reception whilst they waited for his mum and he kept throwing up in a bin. Two different parents turning up at the same time with their unruly boys that needed to go into seclusion but they refused to go and both mums were at the end of their tether and refused to move until they saw a particular member of staff who was actually teaching at that time....

I also popped into M&S on my way home to buy DS1 a nice sandwich for his school trip tomorrow and I came out £17 lighter..

And I seem to have a husband that is sex mad at the moment Hmm and I cannot keep up!

Grin

Enjoy, and think of the fatburning!

bellavita · 22/09/2010 17:37

Lizzy, believe me it gets tiring after a while Blush

He said to me this morning "I was hoping for a quick fumble, but I turned over and you had already got out of bed". Yes, because on a Wed, Thur, Fri I need to leave the house by 7.30 and I have to have a shower etc etc. It isn't so bad on a Mon/Tue as I am not in a rush.

In fact, I daren't even look at him sometimes because he thinks I am giving him the eye!

Anyone got a paper bag?

bellavita · 22/09/2010 18:06
