DS's first birthday party went well, he was running around without trousers on at the end. I am convinced that was a direct karmic retribution for my judging the lady with a trouserless kid at soft play a few weeks ago.
My living room has been taken over by a giant pop up tent, a play tunnel, a ride-on thing with dumpster attachment, and a noisy fire engine (gifts from his play group today).
Trills, yes thanks for reminding me, I had a new proper bra for the meetup and was hoiked up so far I had a boob shelf! It only sees the light now when DS does his semi-regular emptying of mummy's underwear drawer.

Ouch, I heartily recommend an online backup system for the next computer. I've got one called Mozy, based in U.S. but that doesn't really matter. Not free, but pretty cheap, and cheaper than when last PC fried and I had to call in a guy to retrieve things. Relieved you are okay even if car isn't--sounds scary, spinning around and blocking the road!
