lol trills. mine i think. have yuo had a nice night

YanknCock · 11/09/2010 00:48

Not my bosoms I'm sure...they've been languishing in non-wired nursing bras for more than a year.

Why am I still up? Cupcakes are frosted, neighbour with 2 day old baby has been visited and reassured that 'yes, all this is completely normal', course is over for evening. Time for bed, DS has his joint 1st birthday party with his little mate tomorrow. He'll have no idea what's going on.

The other mum and me were sort of guilted into having a party because everyone else in our group was having one. I wouldn't have bothered but didn't want everyone to think I was a slack mother (which I totally am). We took him to the zoo and got him a stuffed elephant, what more does a kid want?

night all

oh, did I tell you XH is going to meet DH2 this weekend? We thought it was about time. This will be interesting.

There you go with those spelling mistakes again.

bellavita · 11/09/2010 07:39

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiney Grin - could you not keep away from your beautiful Macbook? I bet you woke up early with butterflies in your tummy thinking about it!

Funny thing was I saw Brian Blessed on the TV last night after BB mentioned him!

Grey and miserable here. DH already gone to the station to catch his train to London. Boys still in bed.

bellavita · 11/09/2010 07:40

Morning BB, you are up early?

BelfastBloke · 11/09/2010 07:42

Yeah, I couldn't wait to get up to see you, Bella.

Also DW is taking both kids today while I go to football, so I wanted to give her as much of a lie-in as poss.

bellavita · 11/09/2010 07:45

You wouldn't want to see me first thing BB! Not a pretty sight...

Are you playing football or going to watch a match?

BelfastBloke · 11/09/2010 07:52

Going to watch. I have a spare seat in the Family section but have decided that even so, 2yrs 9mth is too young for my daughter's first match.

NormaSknockers · 11/09/2010 07:59

Morning all,

Sorry I'm AWOL at the moment but I'm a bloody miserable cow right now & emotional so keeping my distance til I snap out of it.

bellavita · 11/09/2010 08:02

Norma - get your pretty little bottom back here right now >

BB - Unfortunately, I cannot get excited about football. Shopping yes.. football no.

mittz · 11/09/2010 08:03

Did you get a MacBook then Shiney? How delicious for you.. Have you licked it? Grin

Ooohhh pressie Bella.. I like multiple birthdays Smile How did you 'squeeze' a bit more out of MrB then?GrinWink

This company is fab Bella and do some gorgeous beds.

Bugger to have missed filthy sex talk...[gah]

Grey and miserable here also. I have agreed to go and see my ExMiL. Biscuit. She is 92 and not in the best of health (or temperHmm) Time to put my assertiveness counselling into action methinks.

DC's at Opticians first. DS wants Contact lenses .

So will see you all later (with jaw ache from gritting my teeth lol)

You are all so lovely, truly Smile xx

bellavita · 11/09/2010 08:10

Mittz, I really couldn't go into detail about "extras" from MrB Grin. Those beds look lovely, but a tad out of my price range. The the meeting with ex-Mil goes ok. That reminds me, I must book an optician appt for DS2.

bellavita · 11/09/2010 08:11

the hope

NormaSknockers · 11/09/2010 08:16

I'm a bit of a mess at the mo Bella but I'll be back when I can focus :)

wastingaway · 11/09/2010 08:51

Morning!

Sorry to hear you're out of sorts Norma. You should stay though, Trills isn't getting us done for pretending to do stuff anymore. Grin

Hope it goes well Mittz. Smile

Bella, I like your treats.

Macbooks are so yummy. Even after 3 1/2 years, I love mine.

We were watching more Twin Peaks last night.
I have decided I want to be which ever one of SATC or Desperate Housewives gets to snog Kyle McLachlan.

Off to Meadowhell in a bit.

Hi Wasting, I haven't been to Meadowhell for years. I like my treats too and know I am very lucky. I do sometimes feel guilty that maybe blowing money like that is very frivolous and we could perhaps do with a new wardrobe or maybe a new bedroom carpet, but DH insists I spend it on myself.

DS1 has woken up with a sore throat - poor lamb, his throat sounds really thick when he speaks. He needs to come to town too though as he needs some new trainers - his feet won't stop growing...

The fair sounds fun Shiney Grin

VinegarTits · 11/09/2010 09:52

morning, its pissing down here, i love the movie cast, if Orlando Bloom gets to play trills i might have to shag him

train tickets have arrived already Shock i only ordered them yesterday afternoon Confused

i fucked up on the seat reservation so me and bof have seats that are on opposite sides of the carriage Blush my phone has died so i cant see her reply to my text where is is probably calling me a soft twat Grin

bellavita · 11/09/2010 10:08

Vinny Grin, perhaps it won't be full and you can sit together, or perhaps some kind soul will take pity on you both and swap seats with you. Failing that, you could keep the convo up by txt!

BitOfFun · 11/09/2010 10:10
Grin

How true!

DP is dying properly now, been awake all night with serious man-flu, so I am getting back into bed off to make sure he's ok.

Levelling the kitchen floor may have to wait until tomorrow, grr, but I have never seen him so ill. Sad

OuchPassVodka · 11/09/2010 10:19

my main computer has finally died. it is truely truely fatal this time Sad Especially as i hadnt recused all the pictures, and had a few files that i wanted to print off before it died, but never got around to it. Think it might have been a virus that finally took it out though Sad it is a pain in the ass as mostly all pictures are backed up onto a cd and i have no cd-rom drive on the net book. which is a pain in the ass.

Be strong Mittz. Re contacts - they only let them have them over a certain age and normally only if they are needed all the time. I get mine from specsavers direct debit and they are not bad in price, although i do need to reduce the number i get each month as i have 3months extra built up already. obviously not training or partying hard enough WinkGrin

Norma - lovely come back. you dont have to be in a good mood here. feel free to rant if it is what you need.

Shiney -is it really as lovely as they look in the shop. Will we be seing more of you as a result of the new mac?

Bella - enjoy the shopping

BB- enjoy the football

morning to the rest of you!

Bugger the internet connection has now died. its not my evening/morning/weekend.

bellavita · 11/09/2010 13:39

Afternoon Smile

SOH is being her usual lovely self and sticking up for us... I heart that girl!

gingerwig Sat 11-Sep-10 01:14:51
she's been replaced by the new mumsnet guru/bully ...you all know who I mean, always followed by a trail of bleating sheep

ShowOfHands Sat 11-Sep-10 10:10:22
I remember when MN became codnet for a while. People were v cross about it.

I suspect the reference to the new guru is a reference to somebody like shiney. Always is. And it's silly. She's nice you know. You could try talking to her and being friendly.

FellatioNelson Sat 11-Sep-10 10:19:08
It's very hard to break in on a Shiney led thread though. I'm sure they don't do it on purpose, but it's like being the only new mum at the school gate - you practically have to act like a mad stalker for anyone to notice you are there at all and take you into their fold. Most sane people get bored and go off where they get some love and attention.

That's why the cliques tend to stay as cliques, and new ones constantly form. I appear to be on the cusp of clique membership myself, in spite of everything. It happens by accident/osmosis.

TrillianAstra · 11/09/2010 13:43

Hello everyone. We are getting old as we get annoyed if our Saturday routine of sitting around and MNing/reading papers gets interrupted. DP's sister came up unexpectedly last night, which was lovely but means we had to be sociable on a Saturday morning.

Off to see what I've missed,

By the way, Caitlin Moran is interviewing Jilly Cooper in today's Times, I highly recommend it. I know I'm not cool enough to be Caitlin Moran's friend (or Jilly Cooper's) but I wish I was!
