I am not sure that DS2 would have let me pop his finger.

Yes Trills, hourly updates. Who is Ian? I have obviously missed something somewhere...

Lizzy, someone elses sweat on a piece of equipment in the gym is gruesome. Your own is perfectly acceptable though Grin

I have already filled the drawers of the new bed Grin. All summer clothes are now put away and winter clothes out. The summer ones have been wrapped up and put in my side along with my handbags - god knows how I have managed all this time Wink and DH's side will have our sheets, mattress cover in etc. You watch, the sun and warmth will come back tomorrow and I will have to dig around for a summer skirt..

Oh and DS2 let it out of the bag how much DH actually spent on my new ring - grrrrr. We were at the till paying for DS2's coat and I mentioned that I didn't get x amount spent on me - and he said "no mum you just go and spend x on diamonds" Shock. If looks could kill, luckily DH appeared not to have heard. I do the online banking and DH doesn't have a clue on what we have in what account (apart from the joint account where his salary goes) and thats how I managed to spend extra. I know, I know Blush

Homemade meatballs and pasta for tea.

Hey Jet Smile xx

hellsbelles · 19/09/2010 16:48

but Bella those diamonds are an 'investment' Grin. Well that is what I think anyway.

Shiney - you are probably just knackered from constant children! Hope the cold doesn't turn into anything.

hellsbelles · 19/09/2010 16:49

hello Jet & Mitts....hope you've had good days.

Now I have to go off and finish the roast.

Bella - enough of the organisational chat. I also feel so slovenly when I read your posts. DH is off for two days t/m so I may attempt to use the free evenings to do a bit of sorting. Or I may not Grin

NormaSknockers · 19/09/2010 16:52

Happy Birthday Taya Grin I've just realised, if it's Taya's birthday that means I've been on the thread just over a year now Shock

Nice to get flowers Shiney, did he get lucky?

bellavita · 19/09/2010 17:15

Happy Birthday to Taya Smile. Flowers Shiney Shock. Sorry you are illing, hope you get to have some child free time to recouperate.

Hello jet and hells (sorry hells on the tidying Grin)

Sadly I don't think I can Bella :( I was hoping to try & pop by even if I couldn't stay but between MrNorma's shifts & finances I don't think I can. If things change at least it's not too far for me to just pop up for the day & get the last train home so will try & do that if I can.

jetcat · 19/09/2010 17:23

i think you can shiney, esp if you specified immediate payementHmm

Bella - i meant to say before, that chicken casserole you directed me to - was delicious! Am doing a beef version tomorrowGrin

NormaSknockers · 19/09/2010 17:25

Aww Shiney that's so sweet to hear that she still has it Grin I feel for you on the cold front, have been illing with one since Friday & it's a real stonker, hope it buggers off soon for you.

Re eBay Shiney, yes & no. You can offer it to the bidder below him but with the eBay agreement you have to accept Paypal as a form of payment which includes echeques & you're not allowed to refuse to take it unfortunately. I had the same thing a few weeks back & it really fecked me off.

bellavita · 19/09/2010 17:25

I am pretty certain you could Shiney - he has not paid by the means specified. What happened re the laptop?

Norma Sad. Keeps fingers well and truly crossed that things may change.

mittz · 19/09/2010 17:27

Mwwwah! Bellavita Smile xx

bellavita · 19/09/2010 17:28

That's good to hear jet Smile

Really Norma? I have never heard of echeques. I haven't sold anything for ages so I am not in the "know".

NormaSknockers · 19/09/2010 17:28

I want to try & sort something somehow if I can Bella :)

NormaSknockers · 19/09/2010 17:30

Yes unfortunately, I always state no cheques & tried to state no echeques but I got in trouble & had my listing removed because you have to accept Paypal which includes echeques, right PITA!

bellavita · 19/09/2010 17:31

Grin at Mittz!

bellavita · 19/09/2010 17:36

Shiney, MrB has asked if you have figured out what a two finger swipe does on your mac yet Confused. I must have mentioned it to him the other day and he has stored the info and now of course he has his and is just about getting to grips with it (he knows what it does btw).

I have always just stated paypal on mine ebay selling.

NormaSknockers · 19/09/2010 17:40

I always take paypal too Bella, so much easier, but the echeques are such a faff as they take at least 5 working days to clear & there's always a chance the payment won't clear Hmm
