I have just got off the phone from the chair of governors at a special school in a near by town, and I have been offered an associate governors post. Hurrah.

I'm trying desperately to build up my CV for applying for the secondary English PGCE for next year. Unfortunately for me the only uni I can do it at (Brighton) is one of the most in demand for PGCE places because they are ranked among the best in the country!

I still need to complete my voluntary TA work so things are going to be very, very busy soon.

I love John Lewis, I've only ever been in the one at Southampton and wish we had one near by...I may have to have a look and see where the nearest one is actually.

Thank you to everyone for there support and help whilst this rubbish has been going on with tax credits. I can not even begin to tell you how much of a weight has been lifted now that it is all over.

Just a shame it had to take so long and cause such stress and heartache.

Do sussex not offer the PGCE anymore Jaq or it is a campus issue?

Vinny i also have a mountain of bedding to wash and havent done the school uniform stuff yet either. Poor ds had to rumage in the clean laundry pile mountain to find anything to wear this morning. As for a cleaner, i think i need a skip more So were the meatballs yummy?

I am going to stand under cold shower and see if it wakes me up. i need sleep. must not spend half the night sewing and chatting to best mate about blokes and sex. Am getting too old sleep deprived for that merlarky. it was a nice evening though as we not caught up for ages. internet is a fab thing!

I have decided that when i finally escape, and stop sleeping in the clouds, i want a bed big enough for more then one person and has proper ancorage points. but also has storage.
