I have just sent off my final essay for this OU course (phew). Was a hard one for me, as it required looing closely at tutors feedback and commenting on it, and identifying my strengths as a student But am so relieved its over!

the lure was to great. didnt really chat or get involved with gossip tonight. Skated my ass off. I ache all over, but in a good way. want to get back to serious training so this session was a step in the right direction.

THere has been a bit of a nip to the air the last few days. Been really good. no central heating but have come home to a cold dark house and relented putting heating on for 30mins just to take the edge off check there is nothing wrong with it I will however be taking my hot water bottle to bed as i have been doing the last week or so.

Contraception from lakeland Bella? Maybe I had more beer than I thought if that's how I read that sentence!

Went out for a cycle - gathered some windfall yellow plums and have no idea what I'll do with them. Also picked some sloes (I later found out it't a bit early but never mind) and I have a very good idea what to do with them. Then went to pub, met some friends and had a curry.

Curry house gave us port glasses with a small bit of baileys and single ice cube along with out bill. Was very nice indeed. So I had to have some more when I got home.

Back to work tomorrow - I am with Vinny and could definitely work fewer days a week than I do (for the same total pay of course) and still occupy myself quite happily. Maybe 2 days a week would do it?

Have had a lovely long weekend in Ingleton, Arnside, Grange, Silverdale and Hawes. Lots of lovely walks, sunshine and only one day of showers and waaayyy too much bad food.

Weekend was fab thank you, really enjoyed it, weather was a bit rubbish but aside from that all very good, plus I think I pulled one of the best men, he was totally ignoring my wedding ring Still, it was very flattering

The shoes are lovely, far better than the strappy stripper style shoes that I had bought in a complete panic, though DH says to keep those for his entertainment I think he may just mean watching me trying and failing to walk in em though, not what I am imagining

So 3 days of water and only fruit and veg and lots of sit ups and exercise and a new haircut, I should be OK.

I have a wrap/pashmina thing as well, that may be shelved, I just look like Danny La Rue under a (very pretty) travel blanket to be honest. I will just freeze and be done.

I totally understand DIB, DD starts Thursday & tbh I'm not all that keen on the idea!
