I am Mittz.

Today, I am mostly eating....Granola...

Have done shred, (only done it about 3 times) so I am allowed to have big dinner - going out on a date to have thai food, because we haven't eaten out just the two of us for a while.

While sorting thorugh my clothes I discovered that I have a rather large number of 'going out' tops, which rarely see the light of day (or night) any more because my social life is more 'pub after work' than 'club until 3am'.

I am a demon at pub quizzes- I love them almost as much as karaoke. I am a nightmare to go out with

I get way to competitive at pub quizzes, usually on a different team to my sister who is also way to competitive.

I am awful at karaoke, not 100% tone deaf but really really bad. I am just about able to hear how bad I am, which means I can't be completely tone deaf, I think...

We had a booth, so sang for two hours flat. Amy Winehouse, Blondie and Sheryl Crow proved v popular. And Dolly, but that goes without saying, right?

Am also way too competitive, Fanny, although fortunately not an Answer-Questioner. You know the sort - the ones that query everything at the end.

I would LOVE a booth. Wish we could all have a karaoke night- and yes, Dolly is compulsory

it is peaceful here. ds is asleep on the lounge floor. all i have to do is put him in pjs and into bed. when i have made the bed.

Karaoke is fun, but never need to go as it is partly compulsory to sing along to the music when skating although no singing on tues. serious stuff tues.

We finally went swimming properly and soberly in the pond today and the DC's loved it, will be taking Edie in most of this week after school. Can't believe we had it done.

I am here, have just painted my nails. Am trying to ignore the fact that DH has got the surround sound/sub woofer/all speakers blaring on for Terminator. He has been expecting me to say to him for the last half an hour to turn it down... but am doing my best to keep quiet, tis tres difficult .

Hand/wrist is better from lack of computering, am due back at work this Thursday. Am scheduled for physio too. Triage physio lady said it isn't a joint problem so that is good. Got a different mouse to use and will strictly avoid using the laptop track pad.

MiniYank is in bed after an afternoon/evening of puking. It was projectile, at least 3 good ones and a few mini ones. Poor thing. Going to run up and check on him again.
