I want a roast but I'm guessing they'll want a takeaway from their favourite Italian later

What did you prefer at 23?

Oooh, can’t beat a roast for a hangover, surely?

Findyourneutralspace · 09/04/2023 10:37

I’d want a takeaway but I wouldn’t turn my nose up at a roast dinner. Same goes for my 20 year old, who I’m anticipating a hangover for today.

Roast. Gravy has magical healing powers.

Seeline · 09/04/2023 10:38

Mine would go for a roast, but is normally at uni so doesn't often have one.

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 09/04/2023 10:40

Can't believe so many replies for a roast.

Takeaway 100%!

Flatandhappy · 09/04/2023 10:40

I have two 20 somethings and they would definitely prefer a roast. They are both currently hungover after the Easter roast so will probably polish off the leftovers later 😁

SillyBub · 09/04/2023 10:41

The smell of the roast cooking will be a hangover cure in itself. You want comfort when you're hungover and a home cooked, roast dinner is exactly that. Do extra roast potatoes!

thegrain · 09/04/2023 10:41

Roast

notangelinajolie · 09/04/2023 10:41

Mum's roast for sure.

JamSandle · 09/04/2023 10:41

Takeaway!

Hibernatalie · 09/04/2023 10:41

A massive roast with ample fizzy drinks

ScottBakula · 09/04/2023 10:41

Tbh , depending upon how hung over / what time food is been served , I would prefer toast and coffee then a take away around 5pm with enough left over to indulge in later in the evening

SisSuffragette · 09/04/2023 10:42

I was always a roast wanter but hubby preferred a take away

ilovepixie · 09/04/2023 10:42

A big greasy fry is what I always went for.

cleowasmycat · 09/04/2023 10:43

Both

mycatsanutter · 09/04/2023 10:44

Takeaway , when mine have had a roast hungover they have never finished it , don't think veg is that appealing when got a hangover

Unescorted · 09/04/2023 10:45

Roast chicken, roasted potatoes, stuffing (sage an onion or chestnut) Yorkshire pudding and buckets of gravy. Peas as a token green bit.

Sure sign that there is a hangover in the house.

AdoraBell · 09/04/2023 10:46

Roast with garlic somewhere. If lamb sliced garlic put into the meat. Other options roast garlic either on the plate or in the gravy. Garlic is a miracle cure nausea.

IsaiditwasLighthearted · 09/04/2023 10:47

Carbs in any form.

So a heap of roast potatoes with gravy for lunch and an Italian takeaway for tea Grin

MyOwnVolt · 09/04/2023 10:48

Take away Chinese or Indian yes, Italian though? No. What even is a takeaway Italian? Pizza?

ChaChaRealSmooth · 09/04/2023 10:48

Roast 100%, roasties drowned in gravy!

Anycolouryoulike · 09/04/2023 10:48

Takeaway.
