I want a roast but I'm guessing they'll want a takeaway from their favourite Italian later

What did you prefer at 23?

Roast. Although my DS normally gets a KFC via deliveroo 🙄

heldinadream · 09/04/2023 10:53

Hungover I'd have eaten my own arm as long as it had fats and salt somewhere adorning it.
That and a couple pints of orange juice.

Oakyloaky · 09/04/2023 10:54

Roast …always the best cure for hangover 🤕

cyclamenqueen · 09/04/2023 10:56

In my experience roast. Predictable , lots of carbs with toast potatoes , no choices or thinking about food needed .

MallMoo · 09/04/2023 10:57

Roast! Plenty of mash and roasties, Yorkshire puddings and easy on the veg. Washed down with a pint of Coca Cola with ice 🤤

1 out of 2 says takeaway so far...

Takeaway pizza for sure

Which ever comes quickest to be honest

Can't believe so many replies for a roast.

Takeaway 100%!

But the hungover one isn’t doing the cooking!! A roast is almost always far preferable to a takeaway ime, takeaways are usually slightly disappointing but great when you really need one and can’t be arsed cooking.
When I’m hungover I struggle to eat until much later in the day and then would go for a chinese and pick at it. It would be a waste to go to the effort of making a roast at my request because I know I’d struggle to eat much of it. But if there are lots of you then just ask someone else! The hungover young person doesn’t get to make these decisions if they’re not cooking or paying 😂

PussBilledDuckyPlait · 09/04/2023 11:20

Takeaway - Chinese or Indian 😍

OnTheRunWithMannyMontana · 09/04/2023 11:22

I don't think I could have coped with a roast plus a hangover.

Chinese takeaway for me! It's got to be something quite strong flavoured as well and lots of rice.

Tinyant · 09/04/2023 11:24

Roast for lunch, takeaway later this eve 😅

ISpyCobraKai · 09/04/2023 11:26

Roast because someone else is cooking and I can buy my own takeaway anytime.

DanceMonster · 09/04/2023 11:27

Takeaway. Never been fussed by a roast, and definitely couldn’t eat one when I’d just got out of bed.
In fact I’d want a full English breakfast!

A roast is always disappointing to me!

MrsMitford3 · 09/04/2023 11:28

Roast. Yorkshires soak up everything!!

Plus they can get a takeaway any time...

ExtremelyDetermined · 09/04/2023 11:29

Takeaway, for them and for me

Theimpossiblegirl · 09/04/2023 11:33

My two said roast at home, take away at uni. So basically as long as they're not cooking.

Knullrufs · 09/04/2023 11:36

Takeaway

hilbil21 · 09/04/2023 11:36

I think takeaway but one time my sister in law made a roast and it sorted me out almost immediately lol

Me too

MissMogwai · 09/04/2023 13:40

One says roast, the other says takeaway unless she's coming home for it.

I'd always have a roast too, as long as I'm not making it. My husband is an amazing cook and roast dinners are top notch!

NerrSnerr · 09/04/2023 13:50

100% takeaway for me. Also nicer leftovers if you're too rough to eat much.

TomatoSandwiches · 09/04/2023 13:58

When I used to drink the only thing that worked in the morning was a bacon roll, mug of builders tea and a glass of full fat coke ( and a cigarette 🤐 )
