Completely attached - so skirt can't fall off or ride up!

octothechildherder · 26/02/2010 15:04

lol myjob .... can you imagine!

JennyPenny22 · 26/02/2010 17:30

Anybody have any ideas on what I could do here. Basically I have LOADS of preloved nappies that I need to sell asap really as we need the space and don't want to take them when we move as we already have a big enough stash to use for us, espeically as really Elouise is pretty much ready to PT and we have more than enough for them both.

Anyway, I just don't have the time to sell them all indervidually. I was thinking along the lines of selling them by the binbag full (yes I really have that many ) for somebody who wanted to sell them on for a bit of profit or wanted to get a cheap stash together. BUT really, as they are nothing fancy, postage I think would be too much? Or could get somebody local to Middlesex/South Bucks or West sussex so we could sort out a collection or drop off. But I just don't know how to do it. What sort of pricing would be fair and weather to say x amount for this bag etc or weather to trust somebody to maybe split the price we get for them when they sell?

I am not feeling generous enough to give them away FFP as I spent a lot of money on them and although I am happy for them to go cheaply, I need something back from them.

Don't suppose anybody on here is interested?

I would bag them into 'lots' and give lowest price acceptable plus postage. People are just about to be paid so this weekend would be good time to try it. If not, I would take myjob up on her offer lol!

Looking forward to weekend!

JennyPenny22 · 26/02/2010 19:03

Really myjobismum? You are too kind for your own good . Maybe I could pay you in nappies? I know you said you got on really well with the Yoyoos, maybe you could have some more of them for free for helping? Or Take your pick from the stuff I give you to sell? I would want you to have something for doing it, weather it is nappies or money, would feel too bad otherwise. Would be a massive help though!

JennyPenny22 · 26/02/2010 19:04

Sorry I missed octos post. Maybe I could send myjob the ones in EUC and then sell the more well used ones in bundles?

octothechildherder · 26/02/2010 19:13

I would try it first - it is alot of effort sending out indiv nappies esp if you have lots lol

PP fleece soaker competition ends on sunday - will be drawn out of a hat - they are all great so too difficult to pick one.

JennyPenny22 · 26/02/2010 19:23

octo - what is the PP competition? [comfused]

bagpuss · 26/02/2010 19:28

Have just entered. I heart your website octo .

CharlottesClan · 26/02/2010 19:59

octo, which of the ponchos are the nicest in the flesh.. just sold my bedbug thats too small now but i now have enough funds!

octothechildherder · 26/02/2010 20:13

oooh the blue scattered flowers one is lovely and would go with lots of stuff and the retro one is just cool! Depends which colours you like and your style. The black floral appeals to lots of people as it is dark but personally I don't wear black at all so would prefer a different one. Don't forget your 10% discount MNOCTO. The plain ones are aimed at dads. Will need to get the blue one back from the photographer. Tehy come in a drawstring bag now too.

octothechildherder · 26/02/2010 20:14

Jenny on the PP page

bagpuss · 26/02/2010 20:24

Myjob, I will tell you, yes of course . I went for sorbet minkee with cream lining and a fairy applique and then bordercut gold minkee and blue tie dye minkee with embroidery of a cowboy on a horse with the sun and a cactus with blue cuddlesoft lining. The other two are just plain printed ones - the new flowers minkee with the white background and pink cuddlesoft inner and blue, brown and latte retro dots with brown cuddlesoft inner. If you are going to break a nappy ban you may as well do it in style eh?

JennyPenny22 · 26/02/2010 20:28

Anybody know where I can sell some MEOS? They just don't seem to sell on the usual places - I usually sell on CNT, UKPL and on MN. Don't want loads for them.

JennyPenny22 · 26/02/2010 20:29

Oh and oct0 - I just entered.

octothechildherder · 26/02/2010 20:29

OMG bagpuss that sounds totally gorgeous!

usednappies?? Not sure JP

JennyPenny22 · 26/02/2010 20:34

Just had a look on usednappies and there is not one bid on any of the MEOS that are on there. Annoying as they are one of the ones taking up so much space!

Scotia · 26/02/2010 20:45

Hi all

Jenny I've been trying to sell some MEOS for ages and they are just not shifting at all. I'd put them of Freecycle but if you've seen my Facebook status you'll understand why I'm not going to

Bagpuss, your WN order sounds fab. I like the new girly minkee patterns, lovely lovely.

Octo, I got the yarn today to mend the longies so I'll have a go at them later - should be quite straightforward to do so I should be able to post them on Monday. Do I post them to you or the customer? You can email me to let me know.

Hope everyone else is well - and Myjob, you've certainly broken your nappy ban with a bang! Lolol. Good for you

octothechildherder · 26/02/2010 20:48

Scotia - will email you return address etc

Thanks - you're a star!

NappyShedSal · 26/02/2010 20:48

Jenny - how many MEOS have you got and how many boosters? I know someone who wants some. So let me know what you've got and how much you want and whether postage is included or not. I've just this minute told her mine were sold.

CharlottesClan · 26/02/2010 20:54

no i cant shift my MEOS either. shame, they work fine, i just dont reach for them cos they are so boring
nappy snob here

went with the flowers octo. if i hate it can i exchange it (postage at my cost)
also if its too big? i am very short so i dont know if its going to be too long yet..

excited tho!

octothechildherder · 26/02/2010 20:54

Good choice

octothechildherder · 26/02/2010 20:55

yep no probs re sizing.

4andnotout · 26/02/2010 21:00

Evening all

Having a relaxing evening as my parents called at 7.30pm asking dd1 and dd2 to stay for the weekend, they usually sleepover there on a friday but with all the hoohar of this week we had all completely forgot So its very quiet here now as dd3 and dd4 are soundo and dp is watching some crap film on tv.

Have just looked at the WN page and im loving the new minkee, i think im going to try and sell all my side snap pockets as i just hate the way they do up Dd4 is a real wiggler and wants to be off so always ends up with baggy legs but a tight waist! I have a large WNAI2 and a large embroidered Berry Plush that are sidesnapped, will keep the WNNN as it is oogga
