Ariela, that's great, thanks I didn't know about them. There's no going back to one lifes for me now but they might come in useful with some of my other nappies at some point

Octo, sorry to hear 'bout the nutter, but don't worry, most buyers can separate out the 'hobby complainers' from 'real' bad feedback pretty quickly

I got me a stretchy in the valentines day thingy
my nappy collection is growing and growing

salbysea · 16/02/2010 12:25

Oh yes, also, I bought some vest extenders recently and they don't match the poppers on my LOs vests. Am hoping this is just because he's been in H&M the last few days and they maybe use funky Scandinavian poppers?? maybe when I try on his other brand vests they'll work?
suppose I could always make my own out of old H&M vests that don't fit him any more

I am slowely but surely converting friends to cloth too, have pics up on facebook of my DS in his Minky and I think its tempting some friends into given em a go, am lending out a selection this week for someone to try

I fancy another Like a Tiger but Moo Moo leaves me cold - I don't see my baby as a bovine, more of a carnivore!

How does a brand new large Strawberry Fields Itti (? the red spotty one) AIO grab you, 4?

swampster · 16/02/2010 18:53

Yup, I meant Kirsty, sorry 4.

JennyPenny22 · 16/02/2010 19:10

Anybody want some reduced YoYoos or Coolababys? Trying to clear some space? Got some other bits listed on the for sale board too - including a flutterby dyed WNNL?

4andnotout · 16/02/2010 19:12

Jenny have you still got the WNNN? I really fancied the wnnl but it would be too small as we need a Large

Ooh, yes please Swampster! I already have the strawberry fields one and it is my favourite nappy off all so is always in the wash - I would love another one!

I have a set of snap-in inserts that is spare and I think have only been used once or twice, definitely not pooed in, so I will put that in the like a tiger outer so you get a nearly-new one overall - hope that's OK?

I think I bought a nappy off you a while ago but I haven't still got the email with your details on. If you email me again on kirsty dot clifford dot btinternet dot com then I will post the tiger one out asap.

Ooh, feels good to be expecting fluffy post again - it's been over a whole month with nothing!

salbysea · 16/02/2010 19:49

jenny, I use coolababys, which thread is yours?

salbysea · 16/02/2010 19:54

googled yoyos and they look nice too, do they come with any inserts? do you have pics?

octothechildherder · 16/02/2010 20:20

oooh salybsea prevente people buying out of stock items - am thinking the email I have is from you (SH) so will reserve them for you and let you know when in stock. So amny folk order stuff that says sold out Good but not good lol

Happy Birthday Swampster

thebluefoxategreensocks · 16/02/2010 20:50

wondering why everyone else likes Itti Bittis but me??! Or more to the point, why I thought about trying one again, when I sold the ones we had before, as I really disliked them (before using them even!) Maybe they're too un-nappy like? bit like a pair of furry pants, perhaps? LOL I finally bought a preloved one the other day and Clement wore it for the first time this morning, but I just really hated it overall! I can't see how there is room for a baby to do a big poo! Looks very much like a nappy for looks, and not really what a nappy is for (to catch the stinky stuff!) OK, maybe it's just me - I just wonder why I felt I had to try one again! Guess it's because everyone is always talking so well of them. But I think I've re-realised that I do NOT like them - and probably this one will be up for sale as soon as it's washed and dried.

Now GreenKids ... them nappies are soft & furry & lovely, and very functional, and do everything a nappy should do, and more! So me thinks I'll just stick with them and forget everything else!

But at the moment, I'm not in a nappy buying mood, after seemingly being taken by someone on CNT that I bought a GK retro minkytimes and 2 fuzzis from! I can hope it's something up with the lady and will eventually be sorted - but 2.5 weeks later with no nappies, and no replies to multiple emails (and she's not reading PMs on CNT either). Grr! It's not just me either - another person PMd me and said they were missing nappies too! Think this is the first time it's happened to me! At least it was only 10 pounds - but still, that's not really the point!

Hope everyone else is having a nice & fluffy time! It's cooooold here - snow came back this morning (tho did melt again) but it's snow/frozen rain again tonight.

salbysea · 16/02/2010 21:01

thanks octo

re ittis
I like them cause they work (for me) and I think they look REALLY cute

In general I prefer pockets to pop-in type styles as I like to know there's no chance of anything poking out the sides, but I trust the itti inserts stay in place properly. also like to make em all up in advance and just pop em on like a disposable cause my LO is a little wriggler, and ittis dont need any fiddley rearranging when you're putting them on

because they're so slim ya gotta watch out that under the bum vests dont go up the sides and draw moisture out (which they cant do with wider nappies) but as long as I make sure the vests are sort of tucked in on themselves they work brilliantly for me

swampster · 16/02/2010 21:20

Thanks for birthday wishes. I've had a fabby day involving friends and cake. And a lovely evening involving my man and steak...

Emailed you Kirsty.

And rachel, at you and Ittis! I like Greenkids but they are quite bland. I find Ittis tend to cope better than GK with the explosions and are soooooooooooo much cuter.

In case you didn't hear me the first time...

salbysea · 16/02/2010 21:24

also, with poo the ittis keep it neatly in one place whereas its got more room to move around and make more of a mess in some roomier nappies

KirstyJC · 16/02/2010 21:26

Thanks Swampster - replied.

I love the itti AIO Rachel - have you tried these? I must admit I'm not a lover of the snap ins, but I think that's because DS2 is still a bit small in them (I only have large) and tends to poke out the side - not great for conatining the wee! The AIOs are much better though - more stretchy by far, so I haven't ever had a leak, not even a poorly-baby poo explosion managed to get out!

And boy the spotty ones are so cute....

swampster · 16/02/2010 21:32

And what's wrong with furry pants anyway?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 16/02/2010 21:40

well, each to his own, aye? Nothing wrong with furry pants - just I don't mind a bigger bum from nappies, as we don't do skin tight clothes anyway! I'm just all for comfort and roomy nappies, and the IB seems too close fitting for my liking (at least once the tummy stops gaping and the legs aren't too loose!).

JennyPenny22 · 16/02/2010 21:46

4 - is it the dark blue WNNN you were after? Yes thats still here. yours if you want it.

Salbysea did you google YoYoos or Yoyos? They are completly different nappies. I think the only website they were on was mine which is closed? They are here
