a quick excited one

YAY My itti bitti BRITE arrived

it's gorgeous, its the green print, I'd never have 'chosen' it, but i actually really like it

Ali @ Green Baby has been great, the small went walkabouts - same week my regular postman was off . . . . . & sproggle is using her medium itti's more than small now, so Ali sent me a medium

swampster · 13/02/2010 20:49

I really only 'need' Itti snap-ins, Jenny.

swampster · 13/02/2010 20:50

And what is the Swampster verdict on Cushies?

ellielou02 · 13/02/2010 21:04

Hello does anyone remember me
Been keeping away from here cos I end up spending too much but couldnt resist a peek to see what you are all up too!

What actually brought me here was I was looking for Jenny's shop and its shut for maintenance, hope everything is ok Jenny.

Octo was also having a look on yours and couldnt understand why I couldnt find many nappies but now I understand.

salbysea I dont like one life either they didnt suit Millies shape but I love pop n grows have you sold them cant remember now they are fast becoming the one I reach for as I dont need to "stuff" and I know I can rely on them for a good 3 hours anyway. I had a faulty one at the start but lollipop exchanged it and the new one is great.

What I am lloking for is washable wipes, so I was having a look on your sites

I have just ordered a WNAI2 soooo excitied ooga in lime and pink front border cut with hot pink minkee then lime minkee inner cant wait till it gets here , I did this after ordering a WNNN and it being FAB overnight and wasnt smelly in the morning was very impressed!
Hi to everyone

swampster · 13/02/2010 21:36

Hello ellilou and hello ilovemydog.

I'm afraid One Life and Pop n Gros are far too unfluffy to appeal. [shallow] why bother with ugly nappies when there is so much cute fluff around that does a better job?

The Cushies is certainly cute, I love the choc with lime. It is up there with Ittis in the looks stakes but down with something like a Pop-in in terms of performance.

But it is difficult to get a great fit on my skinny little one, the black fleece inner is Not A Great Idea, and it benefits from proper boosting - tried it with a BBH snap-in insert and it lasted much better. Still think the name is horrid.

So... I think it has a lot of potential but they could do with taking it back to the drawing board for a few tweaks.

I wish I had had one to try when DS3 was small enough to use the tiny setting.

octothechildherder · 13/02/2010 23:12

hello ellielou - I have stopped selling nappies now and am doing other stuff - all still green and washable just not nappies. DS3 has toilet trained and have found many more fluffy things to keep me occupied... for washable wipes you can now get a cheeky monkey kit or jabula has some of her own make - have some new ones coming in soon which are totally adorable but still in secrecy mode lol lol NappyWardrobe will be changing soon aswell to Bespoke Baby Room - maybe on 1st March - but depends how long it takes for the new products to arrive and new photography. All very exiting!

I like the fluffy cushie tushies - haven't actually used one myself as ds was so close to toilet training but they stroke well I like the new all in ones from Wild Child too - although the two parter is much more fluffy.

salbysea · 13/02/2010 23:49

are there any MN discount codes for nappy sites? One was posted a while back but the threads moved on quite a bit since and I didn't jot it down

JennyPenny22 · 14/02/2010 02:17

ellielou - I have closed nappyweb as I have too much on. We are moving to a completly different area and at the moment I amworking a lot (hence why I am on here at 2am, just got back from work) and I just didn't have the time for all the stress of it. Was there anything particular you were looking for as I am going to be selling off stock? Mostly Yoyoos and Coolababys but some others too.

I tried the coolababy applix today, and was quite impressed. Might keep all the girly colours

Babybots - the new lavender colour is really nice, prob my fav as its girly but different to the usual pink that i am getting bored of.

CharlottesClan · 14/02/2010 08:29

i finally got round to ordering my MF wetbags, but am hankering after a itii AIO.. lol

tried a WN AI2 yesterday, got in on CNT, and i must say they are fab, very trim fitting, and as usual for WN very absorbant. might be my new love, but they are £££ when bought new!

octo are you rebranding then?

sorry to hear that jen, hope things calm down a bit for you and the move goes well x

4andnotout · 14/02/2010 09:36

octothechildherder · 14/02/2010 10:31

swamspter I am not getting the Cushie tushie vibe I love my ittis too much, I tried to win a giraffe print on fb today but no luck .

JennyPenny22 · 14/02/2010 23:35

Ellielou - if I am honest its a huge weight off my mind. Even now I have 3 part time jobs - and I don't have any childcare so just working when DH isn't which is getting very tiring. And the move is going to be hard. We are moving out asap and just going to stay with my Mum here while DH is on shift, and possibly at his Dads when he is off as his Dad lives close to where we want to move so can look for work/a house.

Octo - sorry to hear about your nutter. I seem to have quite a few of those at the moment which doesn't help!

Everybody - I have listed my stock of coolababy pockets and YoYoos on the for sale board (Thread is called Updated list) along with some other stuff. Am gradually getting through the house full of nappies. Don't want to be taking them when we move really as we will be putting our stuff in storage for a while.

If anybody sees any inserts for flips either on offer or preloved, will somebody please let me know?

charlottes clan - do you know if you still want the longies? I have put them on the list of stuff I am selling, but just so I don't forget them. If anybody asks about them, I will check with you first. We are moving soon though...

JennyPenny22 · 15/02/2010 07:22

I left the boxes of coolababys and yoyoos out in my living room last night and now Elouise won't let me put them away. She has spent the last half hour making a "castle" with all the yoyoos!

Sorry, I have also noted that I am often the last one to post at night and then the first to post in the morning

LittlePants · 15/02/2010 10:19

I really must pop in here more often - it's just sooooo time consuming, as you are all so active!!! I can't keep up!

Anyway, I think I have an exciting new pocket nappy coming up I hope - a onesize side snap!! Not seen one before, so could be impressive! It's in the prototype stage at the moment, so need to test it out thoroughly, but if it works, it's an exciting new design!

I have also been realy busy, as I have been writing knitting patterns for longies, shorties and skirties. Done loads of protoypes, but now am satisfied that I have the best patterns I can write, so custom slots coming up!

mumface · 15/02/2010 10:53

Morning fellow clothies, sounds exciting Littlepants!
Jenny-don't apologise, I love waking up to messages! Hope you find a place soon. I really miss working. Am hoping to go back into Casinos when kids get a bit older.

Off for a meal with xdh and inlaws today.

Hoping my custom ABK vests and pants come today (went for blue giraffes and owls) and must chase up some soap bits for wipes I ordered ages ago not turned up yet.

Couldn't resist ordering a Bamboozle stretch to try as am loving my flex-tots right now and happened to pop in a Bambinex teddy in my basket too (oops) have to PO too as sold a HL, Itti and Popolino too.

4andnotout · 15/02/2010 12:18

Mumface the ooga wnnn just arrived and is fabby!! I'm feeling a new need coming on

OP posts:
Ariela · 15/02/2010 16:08

Salbysea :

I'm sorry to hear about your One Life, certainly NOT the right type of nappy to recommend for a chunky 9 month. However you can get snap in extenders for Motherease, Popolini one size nappies etc,and I THINK the poppers are the same with the one life - these snap over the last pair of poppers to extend round the waist. Then you may get more mileage out of them as usually chunky 9 month boys slim a LOT when they'[ve started walking (boys tend to have lovely slim bottoms), and you could find they fit again without them once he's running about. Someone on here's baby boy (who was it??) went from XL airflows down to Medium and had to re-buy the mediums as they'd sold them on.

Extenders for Motherease One Size nappies

4andnotout · 16/02/2010 08:33

Morning all

I'm very happy this morning as im getting 3 of the new stretchy bamboozles, 2 are from the FYP competition and the other one is from the totsbots on fb valentines competition. So now i need to get rid of some of my bbh's before im over run!

Half term is going well, we took the children to the mart last night which is a valentines fun fair, yesterday was childrens day so all the rides were £1 which was much more affordable!

Today we are going to my parents house where my mum will be cooking hundreds of pancakes for us and my sister and her OH.

Have a lovely shrove tuesday everyone and HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWAMPSTER

KirstyJC · 16/02/2010 11:40

Hi all and happy birthday swampster!

Swampster, I notice you said a few pages ago that you would consider swapping some large itti snap-ins for the large Itti all-in-ones.......are you still interested? I have a large like a tiger snap in, and a large moo-moo snap in, and I don't use them much to be honest - I seem to get on with the all-in-one Ittis much more. They are reasonably new although there might be light stains on one of the inserts - in the machine at the moment so I can't check but I would stick it on the windowsill for a while to try and clear it if there was!

What large all in ones do you have? Would you like to swap 2 of them? (I promised DH not to buy any more nappies, but I never said anything about swapping...that doesn't count, right?)
