Scaredycat - I only have applix (large) and they go perfectly over MEOS bamboo. I have side snap ones on the way but no idea how these compare I am afraid!

Anybody around?

I am doing my first wholesale order! Its so scary as the whole time I am thinking about what if I don't manage to sell it, and it has all been wasted!

Has anybody used FOAMING wool wash? I haven't seen or heard of any? I am going to be stocking some .

newspaperdelivery · 25/08/2009 00:09

HI J - I'm just off to bed, but had some foaming wash arrive today!
Good luck with the order. Nervous for you !!

Excited for you and Scaredycat3000.

My monkey foot bags are on their way from nappy wardrobe!! Thank you Octo.

Have to go out at 10am so will miss the bloody post. They will be at the central postoffice on Wed so will grab them then and tear the package open

JennyPenny22 · 25/08/2009 01:32

OMG just did my first wholesale order. And it didn't even contain one nappy . I definatly need a new credit card!

I bought:
9inch bamboo velour san pro pads
concentrated wipes solution
wool wash bars
wool wash foam
Sample of teething oil
Insect repellent (for us not the site
Hemp inserts
Bottom balm
Liquid lanolin

Looking forward to adding these onto the website now I know they are definatly on their way. Was a bit hard to work on the website before I had any products! Lol. They are coming from America (I think! Lol) so hope I don't get stung at Customs .

Tree - could you leave a note out for the postman to leave them somewhere? My parsels go through the little window if they fit! Postmans idea! lol. Or in my recycling box otherwise.

If anybody is getting bored/annoyed about me going on about the new website etc then PLEASE tell me and I will try to shut up!

JennyPenny22 · 25/08/2009 01:57

Oh right tree. Was that from bibs n bots? Sorry I thought you had said you had foaming wipes solution . Just read back and it did say nappy wash! Ignore me then!

MrsDimples · 25/08/2009 07:26

Morning all.
Think my nappy addiction is coming along nicely folks. Got my 1st purchase of 2nd hand nappy online last week, a duckegg Pop In. Liking it so much I bought another & 2 bumgenius all 2nd hand off the classified's here. Then last night bought some Rumparoo's & wet nappy bags from an American site, (sorry Octo none of the MF bags prints are very me yet).

Anyone had any experience of the Rumparoo's? I like the bright colours [big grin].

What are the chances of customs catching them?

Very excited about everyone's UD orders. Can not let myself have a peak, as Mr D said last night, "we'll have no money but baby will be sorted" [big grin]

4andnotout · 25/08/2009 07:43

Argh just wrote a huge post and then it deleted

So again....

Morning Mrs D Glad to hear your addiction is coming along nicely, you are in good company here

Jenny-I love hearing about your website, hope we get a sneak peek before you go live, i'm most interested in the csp, i want to try some cloth pantliners so will be most interested in what you stock

It's another beautiful day here, nappies are already out on the line and another load of washing is in the machine. Going to spend the day in the garden with the girls today, then dp will take them to the outlaws his parents for tea tonight. At least i will have a quiet evening and can eat my graze box in peace!

I need some thoughts please, i now have 3 dalmation print nappies, i pink and black bbos, i black and white bbos and another. I don't need all three so should i sell the other two? I haven't ever seen another pink dalmation so hopefully that would sell fast.

Octothechildherder · 25/08/2009 08:21

Morning

ooh Jenny - exciting to place first order! Customs are a nightmare If you start to wonder where you order is - I have a number for parcelforce who hold it, send you a letter and then you need to pay. If you ring them as soon as you suspect it is amiss they will take payment for customs straight away! My next customs bill will be about £250 Happy to hear about your site! I just talked at my husband for weeks and drove him mad!

MrsDimples · 25/08/2009 09:56

What is a BBOS?

4andnotout · 25/08/2009 09:58

BlueBerry Onesize- bbos

MrsDimples · 25/08/2009 10:22

Doh

JennyPenny22 · 25/08/2009 10:48

ARGH I just did the same as you 4 I typed out a big long message and somehow it deleted! ARGH!

JennyPenny22 · 25/08/2009 10:56

Fleece wraps are going back on UD later today!

JennyPenny22 · 25/08/2009 11:08

Some sellers from other countries are making me laugh. One seller is selling bamboo underwear and apparently, if you wear these, they will "give you a wonderful life" .
Seen some really odd statements on there. Lol.

4andnotout · 25/08/2009 11:23

I'd better go and buy some bamboo knickers then

ZippysMum · 25/08/2009 11:56

Hi all,

My twins aren't here yet, but I have bought pop and gro's for them (hadn't discovered MN so actually have a full set - so I hope I like them!!) (the nappies, not the twins). I think I would have bought a smaller selection if I had known more to start with, but too late now.

Anyhoo, having been lurking for some time, I am sorely tempted by some small Itti's in chocolate. Would it be unreasonable to buy a couple, just to try? Do you need to get boosters separately (the pop and gro's come with boosters).

Or will I fall in love with Ittis and wish I had bought them instead. I don't want to spend a fortune - money saving is one of the reasons we went down the washable route!!

Save me with some good advice! A nappy addiction is the last thing I need (but oh! Those furry chocolate Ittis)

4andnotout · 25/08/2009 12:10

Hello and welcome

Congratulations on the twins I'm very

Personally i would wait and buy mediums rather than smalls as they are very small! If you buy preloved they would be cheaper or at babybots they are only £11.59, i love itti's and have 2 in every colour bar 2 limited editions, i love the fit, the colours, they work well for us too.

Scotia · 25/08/2009 12:13

Oh Zippysmum, you definitely need to get 2 little chocolate ittis! They do come with both inserts so you don't have to buy anythingelse with them. I just got a chocolate one on Saturday and it's lush

Jenny, please keep us updated about your website - I sort of feel like it's all of us doing it together IYKWIM

I want to add to my Upsy Daisy order - not sure I should though, lol! And I can't make up my mind whether to buy more pockets or wraps. I suppose wraps are more sensible really - or maybe one of each. Aargh! Can't decide!

mumface · 25/08/2009 12:15

Hi Zippysmum I love Itti's. my little one was in the smalls at birth at 6lbs so if your twins are small they might be a good fit. However they come up tiny so don't think will last long. You don't need to buy any extra boosters for a newborn.
It's nice to have a few(or a lot) of showy off nappies just for the sheer fun of it.You might as well get a couple it's too hard to resist

ZippysMum · 25/08/2009 12:17

Hi 4 notout!

Where is a good place to buy preloved? I have had a look on the for sale but there aren't any ittis there in small. It says small will go 8-16lbs - is that about right? These 2 are likely to be about 6-7lbs at birth.
Thanks

ZippysMum · 25/08/2009 12:19

Wow! What a lot of x-posts!

Would like a few 'show off' nappies - and also I think the pop and gro is quite bulky, so could be an excuse to get some slim-fitting ittis! (justification for dh )

4andnotout · 25/08/2009 12:19

Have you tried

ukparentslounge
clothnappytree
usednappies.co.uk

you can also put wanted ads on the for sale boards

ZippysMum · 25/08/2009 12:21

OOoh! Thanks! Will put a wanted ad up and look at those sites

You lot are no good at talking me out of spending my money! I can feel a serious addiction taking hold.....

mumface · 25/08/2009 12:22

I really can't see a small itti lasting til 16lb my lad is about 12lbs they are getting tight maybe another LB left in them. Have 7 smalls will sell them soon so get a bit of money back on them!

ZippysMum · 25/08/2009 12:26

Oooh mumface - maybe I will wait till you are selling!
Off to put up my wanted ad!
