There are a couple of Hollow Oak nappies and Hollow Oak wool wrap on ebay at the mo - quite small if you mammas of little ones are feeling like fluffy post!

swampster · 23/08/2009 22:40

It must need more lanolin?

Come back after six lanolisings if it still smells of wee, rus. Then we will all mutter sympathetically and say 'buggered if I know'.

rusmum · 23/08/2009 22:57

cheers- i think- lanloin Q then?? best product (cheapest?)

I am using up some tubes of lansinoh nipple cream.

swampster · 23/08/2009 23:03

Another vote for Lansinoh - dissolve in hot water, add a squirt of wool wash or baby shampoo, add cold water and SOAK.

JennyPenny22 · 23/08/2009 23:10

Rusmum - have you let it air out for a few hours?

Octo - I am a bit worrried I will end up keeping most of my stock

Regarding the coolababys. I don't have a shop yet - I am hoping to do site next week and I am almost certain I will have coolababys in stock in a couple of weeks. Have got funds for first batch - but need to finalise details with wholesaler. I will do them as cheap as I can while still making it worth while iyswim?

Think my website will be "nappyweb" (Webb is my surname). Bit boring but to the point and includes the product name and my name.

Octo - can I ask, do you just post things like anybody else or is there some sort of post office account for buisnesses or something? Just thinking about how much I HATE the PO.

rusmum · 23/08/2009 23:12

am interested in CSP!!!!

JennyPenny22 · 23/08/2009 23:14

Sorry x post there as I took so long to write the message ! lol.

Rusmum - what wraps are you looking for?

JennyPenny22 · 23/08/2009 23:16

Oh and Octo - surely you could use your garage but just make sure all the nappies etc were in sealed plastic storage boxes?

purplesal · 24/08/2009 08:24

Octo - your house actually sounds more organised than mine. I have got all my pop'n'gros stored in the garage - we haven't been here for a whole winter so don't know yet if we get mice - whoops - that might be an expensive mistake to find out. Also in the garage are all the nappies waiting to be shipped out to the orphanage.

Then I have a little bedroom that is just used as a store room - for Onelife rucksacks, all nappy accessories, secondhand nappies my trial kits and everythingelse to do with life.

My didning room floor currently houses 34 aquanappies all lined up in their appropriate sizes. My demo kit lives either on the sitting room floor, or if I have a tidy up it goes into my car boot. My nappy display board lives behind one of my sofas - in fact that's probably the tidiest thing as you can't see it when it's behind a sofa!

My goodness it sounds positively deadful when described like this!!!

rusmum · 24/08/2009 08:57

wanting large (20lb on) popper ( i think) ones pretty to show off and match dresses, to fit over size 2 sandy and seobel

Octothechildherder · 24/08/2009 09:10

LOL Purplesal

Jenny - I go the post office as normal as I have a good village one - you can buy postage on line or get a franking machine.

Rusmum - what wraps do you need?

Off to see a friend's new baby girl - swoon!

Octothechildherder · 24/08/2009 09:14

I don't have pink ones - just cream lollipop velcro or popper or totsbots yellow or lilac spot - free postage til end of week and your mnocto discount for 10%. If you want pretty patterns I know that honeybees nursery online does nature babies patterns. Think bebeco does a range of covers aswell - if bumfluff is still selling until is taken over she may have stock left of girly wraps.

purplesal · 24/08/2009 11:06

Lilac spot is pretty girly - I think they're a lovely design but I'm not overly keen on the fabric that Tots use

JennyPenny22 · 24/08/2009 11:12

Purplesal - Did you get my email? No hurry, I just wanted to check it hadn't got lost in the web somewhere! lol

DH has said he will look after Talia in the evenings on his days off this week (its his last day of shift today so has the next 4 days as his "weekend") so that I can get the website etc done.

The postman hasn't been yet grrrrr

purplesal · 24/08/2009 11:27

JennyPenny - no haven't got an email from you - but my email is playing up again - it seems to have problems with anything sent on a Friday, Sat or Sunday - or maybe it's just temperamental all the time. Can you please resend to [email protected]

Thanks

newspaperdelivery · 24/08/2009 12:27

Today I got foaming nappy wash. But i'm a bit as I didn't realise it has glycerine soap in it. Skin Balm which is really runny and leaked a bit in the post [maybe the heat] and wooly wash that smells nothing like tutti futti. Will see how it all goes but first impressions not great Looking forward to trying the wipe lump thingies.

Also finally got some vest extenders although H hasn't worn one in ages as its warm. Still, good to have!

JennyPenny22 · 24/08/2009 12:33

Tree - what do you want to be called for short? I keep saying tree but your not tree anymore! lol. Or is it a tempory change?

purplesal - I will resend tonight when I have a bit more time - just poping on for 2 mins while breastfeeding.

I am going to try the coolababys again but with an EP hemp booster. Elouise was fine with just the MF one but Talia wees for england and soaked in within 2 hours. Have stuffed them ready and they don't look too bulky or anything. Was a bit worried they would gape with boosting but they dont look like it. Will stick it on her at next nappy change.

Elouise is at Nannys house in a disposable

newspaperdelivery · 24/08/2009 12:41

Tree is cool.

Octothechildherder · 24/08/2009 12:56

Did you get the UD email? 25% off!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 24/08/2009 12:59

I did! But I'm not meant to be spending anything on nappies! I just did make 32.50 for selling various nappies to our local real nappy project (they've started buying nappies back)....but it's meant to go towards buying a Phil & Teds pushchair. boo hoo! LOL

JennyPenny22 · 24/08/2009 13:30

I just pent £50 there

newspaperdelivery · 24/08/2009 13:34

I just spent £13 so you have made me feel a bit better!

I got a sage side snap in med-long withe flower press studs and a tree embroidery. It might be nice for her Christening, although for that I think a cherry blossom weenotions might be vital.

Was tempted by a bamboo, but so far we aren't needeing the heavy wetting stuff. So far......

What you get Jenny?

JennyPenny22 · 24/08/2009 13:35

I am a bit guttted as I have an ordrer that I did about a week ago and paid full price! Oh well!

Got: 2 night nappies, 1 minki wrap and 3 fitteds. All in bamboo though as there is no soy.

newspaperdelivery · 24/08/2009 14:42

Oh yes you did didn't you. Ah well, you have lots of fluff coming

Ehat colours did you choose?

Toying with idea of getting a large night time for winter, when things wont be dry in a day on the line

This is my first custom order!

Got email from Bibsandbotts - really quick response. The balm just needs to go in the fridge. So thats good. Will wash woolies later and see what the wash is like, hope its nice.
