I would totally love nappy wardrobe, also... am moving house in the morning and am wondering where on earth am going to keep stash (is v extensive strictly for research purposes you understand!!)

Re. silver liners.. silver is definitely magic... used to do advertising for Pretty Polly, and they make gym socks with silver in to prevent ponging from bacteria. Bonus. Also, fact fans, they make plasters with silver in to help prevent infection...

4andnotout · 17/08/2009 07:46

Morning all

Tree-The stash looks , i'm going to have to rearrange mine now though as mine are just piled in rainbow order and you can't actually see the pretty bits! I have a changer like that too for storing my fluff.

4andnotout · 17/08/2009 07:48

looks lovely

mumface · 17/08/2009 09:01

Morning, Have just been Itti snapping & have had a nappy revelation!
The small booster sets fit in the medium nappy so when he grows out of smalls I will have double the amount of sets for my mediums. Then when I move onto large I can still use the medium ones in those
There is hardly any size difference I have to check the labels when I am sorting them out.
I had been planning on getting extra sets to use while the others are drying am glad I didn't bother.
(I bet you all do this already)

4andnotout · 17/08/2009 09:08

It takes me ages to snap my itti's back together as dd4 is in mediums (but not for much longer ) and dd3 is in larges, i'm debating selling my mediums when she is done with them incase i don't get pregnant for years!

BaronConker · 17/08/2009 09:50

I've got a medium insert that I use in my large Ittis, but everytime I use it I end up with a leak. Just think it's not quite absorbent enough so I'll have to save it for round-the house, only-in-a-nappy-for-2 hours type situations...

Octothechildherder · 17/08/2009 10:52

Would def look lush in the wardrobe - think of all your lovely woollies hanging up in colour order too I do keep my nappies in my nappy wardrobe - but looks a bit sad atm as full of greying fuzzis and prefolds (UD being worn)! Will fill with nice new bright stock and upload a picture! I was thinking of keeping a nappywardrobe photo diary of what is in it!

Used my UD soy handpainted nappy last night with a rikki and it lsted all night - was very wet but had only had two prewashes. Lovely fit on. His fuzzis seem to be rubbing the inside of his legs atm - will use two parters for a few days. Not sure what is causing it as seems to be quite low down.

mumface · 17/08/2009 11:52

Maybe I will get some mini boosters then to snap in the smalls for when I use them in a medium outter. Anybody tried them. Are the bamboo ones better or the microfibre I've noticed quite a bit of price differences between sites.

Scotia · 17/08/2009 12:44

I had a reply from CraftynClothy regarding my faulty itti - I have to return it to Green Baby and choose another colour as a replacement. CnC also offered to reimburse me for postage to Green Baby, which I think is very generous.

Octo, you may be interested to know that CnC has had her baby on 8th August - don't know what flavour, lol, but it was announced on her website. Maybe she'll turn up on here to show off her nappies!

Mumface, I have one of the mini boosters in microfibre, but I'm not sure it makes all that much difference to the absorbency as it's so tiny! Ds can last a good 4 hours in his ittis anyway, although I do have to change the whole nappy every time.

Octothechildherder · 17/08/2009 12:49

Hi Jenny - fluffly bundle of popngro(s) on their way to you from Lollipop.

Octothechildherder · 17/08/2009 12:51

Yeah CnC - will have a look on FB!

JennyPenny22 · 17/08/2009 12:56

Octo - is it a fitted or a night nappy? The UD I mean?

Would love to see a picture of the wardrobe! If we weren't moving house in April I think I would be more tempted to save for one. But would need a big one and thats then more than my budget can allow! .

Octothechildherder · 17/08/2009 12:58

Its fitted - how do you know if its a night nappy specifically? Have emailed you.

Octothechildherder · 17/08/2009 13:05

CnC had a little girl

Scotia · 17/08/2009 13:20

Thanks for that Octo - lovely news

JennyPenny22 · 17/08/2009 13:29

A day nappy will just have one insert that poppers into the nappy. MOST night nappies have a trifold insert and a popper on booster, although the newest one has 2 single ones and a popper on booster - I just bought an old one and it has one really thick booster and a pop on boster just to confuse you even more! lol.

Basically, if it just has one single insert then it is probably a day nappy.
I have lots of both! lol

Have replied to your email octo.

Octothechildherder · 17/08/2009 13:42

It is a day one then - and it lasted through the night yeah!

BaronConker · 17/08/2009 14:06

mumface - if you find the cheapest mini inserts for ittis, let me know as I am too lazy to hunt myself!

mumface · 17/08/2009 14:42

It's looking like Twinkle at £1.35 each.

treedelivery · 17/08/2009 16:37

Hi all, lots of news to catch up on here!

Especially on the GreenBaby Itti front! Thats interesting, as I sent another email and they got back to me to say it is still with the supliers. No offers of a replacement as yet! Am hopefull though. I have told them that musnet clothheads have had a couple of problems, so another one being sent to them will be good for my case so to speak. I think GreenBaby must be the distributer?

I really want a nappy wardrobe now. It could go on to be a uniform wardrobe when out of nappies

I have a LAura Ashley country type kitchen/diner/family room. cream table and bookcase from Laura Ashley, cream silk curtains and wooden Floors. One would fit right in no?

Ooh I have a Key box in F&B French Grey too, so the wardrobe could match right in.................

You should def show one with loads of lovely pastel shade nappies stacked in Octo, because I want to leer see

Got some silver inserts here too - seemed good. Also have some silk, also good but not comfortable.

rusmum · 17/08/2009 16:42

which nappy types are they that look sooo lush all in a row???? can tell the ittis and???????

treedelivery · 17/08/2009 16:46

Me?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 17/08/2009 16:58

jenny: Just wondering if you've been getting the emails from my friend who wanted to buy the Lollipop nappies from you? She was telling me today that she's tried to contact you several times but not heard from you. So just wondered if you got her emails, or if you didn't have the nappies anymore? I think she's keen to buy the nappies tho, as her baby is due in 4 weeks.

JennyPenny22 · 17/08/2009 17:01

octo sorry I missed your message to say that fluffy post is on its way to me! THANK YOU! Can I ask (I hope you don't mind me asking this!) has it been funded by you or lollipop? . Not that it matters but just feel guilty if you have ended up out of pocket!
