Yes, second photo is the same nappy - it's the fleece lined inner of the same orange/red nappy! And there is a pocket between the two layers to put the absorbant bit (which I don't actually have - though if you don't have any inserts, I can see if I can find something to include!).

Going to get pics of other nappy....

Jenny the extra boosters that pop in under the hourglass insert are optional extras

Hi there,
I haven't posted on nappies and potty training for ages, but wondered if any clothies would care to help?
I have a cloth nappy review blog, but no babies in nappies anymore. I do check nappy retailers websites periodically, but I struggle to keep up with the latest manufacturers and styles.
The idea is that cloth users leave reviews for nappies they have tried.
I was wondering which products to add to the blog and you guys seem very up to date, so I wondered if you could tell me about any new nappies I have missed on the blog.
The blog is here if you want to have a look.

OK, pics of GK Funtime:

Here is the outside of the nappy, which is a cotton fabric with PUL (waterproof) lining on the other side, aplix (velcro) isn't quite as white as when new but nothing too unsightly:

This is the fleece inner - bit of bobbling but no stains:

and this is the official insert, which I believe to be hemp, but can't be positive as it doesn't say:

steffi - you are welcome to buy it. Don't feel you have to though as I am not in any rush to sell. It would be £10 including postage. Would prefer gifted paypal if possible? If you would like it, you can pay me at [email protected] and I can post tomorrow. As I said, I don't think I will have a problem selling it so don't worry if you change your mind or anything. (Can you tell that I actually really like it! LOL. If I had plenty of funds then I would keep it!)

steffibabes · 15/07/2009 18:00

Hi Jenny I would like it please. Am sending you the money now. Hurrah!

JennyPenny22 · 15/07/2009 18:15

thanks. have got money. could you send me your address to my email?

sorry excuse my typing but am breastfeeding

JennyPenny22 · 15/07/2009 18:51

Does anybody want any cotten boosters at all? I have loads to go? Would do very cheaply? Mainly just enough to cover postage etc?

JennyPenny22 · 15/07/2009 20:02

4 - do you use the optional snap in booster? How long do your last between changes? Talias lasts 2-3 hours Max and that is with the booster. Can't imagin one lasting very long without it?

JennyPenny22 · 15/07/2009 20:50

Anybody know how much a BBH AIO is worth? There are some mediums on CNT for £11.50

Going to get one for Talia, to try it out I think. Now got to decide on a colour!

4andnotout · 15/07/2009 20:59

Jenny - no I don't use any extra boosters and they are changed every 3-4 hours but theinserts are never wringing wet then.

Sorry, just realised I am talking too much

Steffi - will post tomorrow morning!

4andnotout · 15/07/2009 21:11

Jenny don't be silly that's what this thread is for

OP posts:
swampster · 15/07/2009 21:24

Jenny, I may not post much but I listen to every word you say! £11.50 sounds OK for a BBH AIO. I have a couple but I don't want to sit and stroke them all day like I do with Ittis.

treedelivery · 15/07/2009 21:54

Jenny - have replied on CNT to your boosters for sale.

Dunno why I didn't reply here

You don't talk too much. I always read too! And you always have a fluffy scheme on the go, I find that very cheerful. x

JennyPenny22 · 15/07/2009 22:36

Hi tree! Just seen your message about the liners. The very thin boosters are more like liners. In fact, that might be what they are meant to be? . So Yes, probably suitable for what you want them for.
Have just counted 23 of the thin ones! LOL. As its you, I am happy to give them to you FFP if you like?

Glad you all listen to me!

Anybody know if a BBH AIO is more absorbant than an itti? I can't keep up with Talias wees . Elouise is fine now though - although we cut down her milk and I think thats what did it!

JennyPenny22 · 15/07/2009 22:44

make that 24 - just found an extra one!

Won't be offended if you don't want them by the way.

And LOL at fluffy scheme

swampster · 15/07/2009 22:46

I don't think BBH AIOs are hugely absorbent though I haven't had any leaks yet. BUT while they have a microfibre core, they come with a small insert. and I'm sure you could stuff them with something a wee bit more substantial.

treedelivery · 15/07/2009 23:14

OOooOOOooo yes please Jenny. Sorry, been away from laptop lanolising my wool! Have had it weeks and not lanolised it as too hot by far. SHe lived in the longies camping though. Fab things. Looking forward to chillier nights, she better not outgrow them before the autumn

So, charge whatever you would have on CNT, you need funds for schemes. They sound perfect for wet wipes.

I am using one of these, I took out the pad thing and just filled it with water and a chamomile tea bag, and now we have warm water on hand all day. Probably costing a fortune in electricity. I want another for upstairs

JennyPenny22 · 15/07/2009 23:42

Shall I just post them to you tomorrow and see how much it costs and go from there? I don't even know where they came from so not worried about getting much.

JennyPenny22 · 15/07/2009 23:43

Don't suppose anybody here has Nattys address? I lost it and need to post some nappies to her but she isn't on Msn so has probably gone to bed!

JennyPenny22 · 15/07/2009 23:45

Ignore me - found it!

treedelivery · 15/07/2009 23:52

Ok Jen, see what it costs, and we can stick some £££ on - whatever you would have expected on CNT.
