Regarding making your own nappies, I would suggest registering with cloth nappy tree! They have a "DIY" nappy section and lots of people on there make their own nappies. I wouldn't have a clue myself!

Which tots bots are you using? The cotton ones?

Octothechildherder · 14/07/2009 20:43

Yes Baronconker - I take paypal on the site. I think the pop n gro is a real winner.

Some of the bags requested are out of stock - will let you know this week and what the new stock/final lines will permanently (ish!)be. Its really difficult deciding which ones to choose. Hoping to follow up woth matching changing mats etc.

Need sleep!

4andnotout · 14/07/2009 20:58

Baron - £4 delivered for the inserts? if thats ok my pp is [email protected] and i can pop in the post tommorow or thursday depending on dp's bank account!

BBH wraps as low as £3.49!

swampster · 14/07/2009 21:33

Meant to say... BBH wraps...

twoclimbingboys · 14/07/2009 21:40

jenny - the soy fitteds are similar to the night nappies, but no trifold. Instead they have a snap in insert like the additional night time one but twice as thick? Does that make sense? Amber is a star - each one has different coloured poppers - including the snap in insert, so I know which goes with which. One of the nappies has glow in the dark stars as poppers!

JennyPenny22 · 14/07/2009 22:43

Wow - that does sound good about the UD ones! I have 5 preloved UDNNs on their way from various people! (1 small, 2 mediums and 2 large!). I am going to gradually get rid of my WNNNs and use the money for UDNNs. I was going to order them brand new but there has been quite a few come up preloved recently so have snapped them up when I can. Shame I have missed a few!

I know I mentioned earlier about the medium WNNN. Is anybody interested in some Large - £8 each posted? Or £10 for the Newest one which is finding Nemo. All have the trifold inserts and snap on boosters. Or would swap for BBH or UD.

steffibabes · 15/07/2009 10:37

Jenny I am interested in medium WNNNs. Large would be waaaaaayyyy too big for my skinny DD so if you haven't sold it to someone else can you consider me please?

4andnotout · 15/07/2009 12:35

Baron - I have left a message on your for sale thread re the the ruby bbos.

JennyPenny22 · 15/07/2009 13:04

Hi steffi - The only medium I am selling at the moment is the girly one that I mentioned to tree. She hasn't been back on since so will check with her first if thats ok? It is gorgeous and in EUC and I would like £10 for it. It is the newest version of them and hasn't had much use. It is really lovely and if it weren't for the UDs I am getting then I wouldn't be selling it.Photos here:

hmmm - doesn't seem to work for me - is that link working for anybody else?

JennyPenny22 · 15/07/2009 13:31

Had lots of fluffy post today!

I got 2 medium SS UDNNs - which confirmed to me that the one I had was m/l rather than m (Was sold to me preloved as M). BUT both of them are soy but the snap in booster is something else! Think it is bamboo!
I also got a small UDNN from somebody else which is lovely and Talia will be trying it out tonight! its so dinky! But again, it isn't all soy! This time it is the other way round! The booster is soy and the rest is something else! Not too bothered as it will only fit for a few weeks. Has Anchor embordory on it!

I also got a "large" itti. Going to try it on Elouise when she wakes up from her nap. It looks very small though! I held it against the small UDNN and they are about the same size! If anything, the small UDNN is slightly bigger than the itti! LOL

treedelivery · 15/07/2009 13:48

Hi Jenny - I forgot sorry missus [blsuh]!

What is the wnnn like? The link isn't working but a general description is fine for me.

On itti sizing - its odd. DD can wear a med or a large [at 6months and 12 lbs - a lightweight] and also a small. She is in a small now, and though the poppers are on the very last, it still fits fine and seems as absorbant. It has just as much booster really. The nappy looks too small but is in fact a very tidy fit. Maybe they last longer than we think, as we are used to mahooosive fluff bumbs?

Blush
JennyPenny22 · 15/07/2009 14:34

Lol.

The WNNN - the inner is bamboo which has been dyed purple by previous owner to match the nappy. The outter is butterfly print - a mixture of pinks, purples and blues in a pattern. Its quite hard to explain .
Its very lovely. If you send me a PM on CNT I can forward you the picture that was sent to me when I bought it! (my username is jennypenny).

There were some small ittis going cheap a while ago but I assumed they would be too small for Talia as she fits nicely in the mediums. Maybe they would fit then if your DD can still fit into them? Talia was 12lb when she was weighed about a week ago (she is a bit of a chunk! lol).

Regarding the large itti that came today - It didn't have the snap in booster? It is the AIO so the main booster thing is sewn on but has the snaps for a second booster that didn't come. Should it have had one? The Medium I bought on here for Talia did.

JennyPenny22 · 15/07/2009 14:36

Am just about to list a large light blue ME airflow? £4 posted EEUC if anybody wants it?

treedelivery · 15/07/2009 14:44

Oh Jenny I think I will pass if that is ok. I'll never dry it, I am struggling with the itti inserts! Gave in yesterday and put them in the drier.

That said if you have passed up any buyer on my behalf I will absolutley take it as I don't want to be a stringer alonger. If you see what mean.

Alwys nice to invent new words!

I don't know about yuor itti, I only have experience of the snap in one. Sorry!

steffibabes · 15/07/2009 14:53

Hi jenny that is fair enough- but if treedelivery doesn't want it then I shall.

Treedelivery I think it was you who recommemded Graze. I love it! My 2nd box came today- yummy!

treedelivery · 15/07/2009 14:57

Great news on Graze!

Go ahead and buy Jenny's nappies I'm skint anyway and don't need new ones. Oh but I want I want I want!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 15/07/2009 15:17

I think my brains are going! In the past 2 weeks I've twice hung nappies outside to dry which hadn't been washed yet! First time I noticed after hanging a few out, they just didn't seem to smell quite as fresh as I thought they should (you see, I use un-scented washing powder, so don't expect to smell fragrance - just clean nappies!) but when I looked at the washing machine I saw that they'd merely had their pre-wash/rinse cycle! And the second time (yesterday) I had put them through both the pre-rinse and a full 60 degree wash, but without washing powder! And on that occasion they hung on the line for about 2 hours before I decided I was sure they'd not had soap and needed to go through again! Please tell me I'm not the only one in the world to be soooooooooo brainless!! [blush} LOL

BTW, anyone looking for one-sized pockets? I've got 2 looking for a new home!

One is Upsy Daisy One-Size Pocket, minki gelato slush (I think!) it's a lovely red with orange mixed in - lovely & fluffy minki fabric, clean white fleece inner (no stains) - popper fastening, no insert.

and

Green Kids Funtime, yellow/green outer with dragonfly print - cute & unisex, with orignal GreenKids double insert, which I think is hemp (though it doesn't say).

I'm really a fitteds & wraps/wool person! So these need someone to love them! lol

JustcallmeDog: the nappies I have are one size (i.e. birth to potty) - the UD one has poppers to adjust height but the GK is just aplix and can't remember how you fold it down to make it smaller (tho their website says, I'm sure) but seems very stretchy anyway so haven't bothered finding out the proper way to make it tiny! But both my 3mo and 2yo son can wear it quite happily!

Don't yet have pics of the GK but will get some up shortly. Here are pics of UDOS:

and

i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk108/rachins_photos/nappies/udosinside.jpg

As I said, no insert with it, but can be stuffed with anything really!

Will get pics up later of GK Funtime. Was thinking of around 7 pounds for each (inc postage).
