treedelivery · 30/03/2009 21:52

Oh Dog it's so good to be here thinking about nappies and a bloody rug.

treedelivery · 30/03/2009 21:53

Rus - no, I think still good. Just if they were new we were all going to stampede

Colours please.....?

fushia, ivory, chocolate, mint, tuquoise!!

treedelivery · 30/03/2009 22:07

I have a mint and a red. The mint is just lovely.

Drooool. Lucky you!

swampster · 30/03/2009 22:16

Yoo hoo! I'm back! DH hijacked my computer!

My swampy is short for alien swamp monster aka DS2.

DS3 was in his teeny tiny chocolate Itti today - cute as. And his cheetah BBSS was much admired when I took him to get him weighed. They had never seen anything like it before.

ilovemydogandMrObama · 30/03/2009 22:25

swampy/swampster There are 3 rules in the ilovemydog household:

  1. I don't touch Mr lovemydog's guitars/he doesn't touch my macbook
  2. Whoever wakes up first makes the coffee
  3. No voting Republican/Tory.

Treedelivery I know what you mean. My kids woke up at various times throughout the evening, but compared to what others are going through, I feel blessed.

soon: Thanks very much for payment! Hope you didn't have to go to too much trouble getting your credit card to work! Will get it posted to you (2nd class w/ recorded delivery) on Wednesday. Well, as long as I'm not in labour then! LOL

treedelivery · 30/03/2009 22:32

Swampster - I demand a pic of the swamp monster in chocolate itti. Demand do you hear????

swampster · 30/03/2009 22:35

DH always wakes up first and makes the coffee so I shouldn't complain too much about the computer eventhoughhehasoneofhisownthatIdon'tuse!

Good night all.

swampster · 30/03/2009 22:36

It is hanging up to dry or I'd take the picture right now Sir!

treedelivery · 30/03/2009 22:42

See you do it directly. [stern emoticon]

LackaDAISYcal · 30/03/2009 22:49

gosh you lot can talk.....i can't keep up anymore

But...we are back in cloth and now using size 2s and having to sell off all my lovely size 1 fluff

I've even had DD in a pocket nappy recently, although she wasn't very happy about it. I'd love to have them both in cloth and then I could justify spending more money on some ittis or blueberries at the very least so she can wear something nice under her summer dresses!!

Was someone interested in my pink fuzzi and BGs? I had a computer crash and lost all my emails so have no idea who and when . As it is, we have been using them...bumble looks very fetching with a bubblegum pink bottom

I'll try and keep up more!

soon2befamilyof4 · 30/03/2009 22:53

Thats ok, I would have sent it gifted so you didn't get any fees but it wouldn't let me because I had no funds in my account which is annoying. So sorry about that. I am STILL going through my stash making a big list! There is loads.

I can't believe how many nappies I have built up!

I have a large WeeNotions side snap for sale (furry pocket) if anybody is interested? It is quite small for a large though - have asked on CNT if this is normal as I have never had a WN before. it is multicoloured and very nice, but doesn't fit DD properly.

I am going to need to change my name when this baby is born as it won't make sense anymore! Any ideas?

And am I the ONLY one on here who doesn't own an itti bitti?

LackaDAISYcal · 30/03/2009 23:06

I don't have any either soon2be

treedelivery · 30/03/2009 23:10

You need to get some. I haven't found mine to be a great deal of use but oh boy it's cute.

Am hopefull chunkier legs will deal with leaks and I can add to my collection of 1 sml and 1 medium......

mumoftoby · 30/03/2009 23:17

I seem to have stopped poop leaks by just using the trifold insert and not bothering with the other one. Unsing both inserts was meaning the leg cuffs weren't deep enough - am I making any sense?

treedelivery · 30/03/2009 23:21

totally - I found the same. The boosters make the nappy to big for it's self!

ilovemydogandMrObama · 30/03/2009 23:25

Baby bama is in a pop in mega boosted.

wish me luck, as he likes moving into mommy/daddy bed about 1am...

treedelivery · 30/03/2009 23:32

As my child has today been sick on my mattress, wee'd on my duvet, and the rug incident, I wish you all the luck in the world.

that reminds me want to research water proof cover for my bed. Apparently hipbaby is fab.

Good luck!

soon2befamilyof4 · 30/03/2009 23:50

Tree - I am looking for a waterproof cover too incase my waters break and to protect from messy babies and cat! Let me know if you have any luck!

The ittis just don't seem to appeal to me. I think it is because it is very pricey for a sized nappy. If it was onesize then I would have bought one by now (and yes, I know I am obsessed with onesize nappies ). And the idea reminds me of the modern baby pop in - which I just didn't get on with. If I saw a large that was a real bargain then I would probably go for it to try it out if I had funds in PP.

LackaDAISYcal · 31/03/2009 00:26

I bought a waterproof protector in IKEA for about £15 that fits our double bed. It's quilted on one side and waterproof on the other and doesn't make you go all sweaty and hot.

alternatively I bought some reuseable bed mats in Boots for DS1 when he was having bedwetting issues....about the same size as pampers ones.......might be too small for waters breaking though!

Deemented · 31/03/2009 07:52

I don't own an Itti either. I don't feel i'm missing out too much as i have some more Hollow Oaks on their way to me and Jimmy Riddles are doing a co-op soon too....

soon2befamilyof4 · 31/03/2009 08:17

Morning all!

DD had to go in her disposable last night while nappy wash was on. . Hope it doesn't make her bum too sore this time. I shove loads of cream on anyway. Nappies all washed and on the line. Will probably need to tumble dry a night nappy tonight. Or do you think it is ok to put my WNNN on the radiator with no stuffing in? I use my own inserts for it so I should have enough of those dry anyway.

Pink butterflies onesize pockets up for grabs today? And an old style bumhugger and a couple of ellas house hemp nappies in large.

Deemented · 31/03/2009 08:22

Your NN should be fine on radiator without insert in it
