Sorry I know this question has probably already been asked 1000 times on here.

But I'd like to know what age were you, how long did it take, and did you have any health problems?

I know that the answers are different for everyone and it won't give me any insight as to what it will be like for me. But I'm just interested in knowing ☺️

Number 1 - 22, a fortnight shy of 23. He was a big surprise, on contraception/not trying.

I had MCs at 29, 31 and 32.

Number 2 - 33.

No health conditions I know of.

Second at 40 - took 4 months

VeronicaSawyer89 · 29/11/2023 21:43
  1. We'd been trying for 4 years beforehand and I'd already had miscarriage. Had second child at 28, she was unplanned.
hazelchoc · 29/11/2023 22:15

36 with 1st baby.

I had Gestational Diabetes, my waters broke at 36 weeks.
Induced at 36 weeks and 2 days.
Had suspected Sepsis whilst in labour, lost 2600 litres of blood and required a blood transfusion.

Also had a womb infection which I am currently taking antibiotics for.

I had a straightforward pregnancy until I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes at 33 weeks.

I would like a sibling for my son but the traumatic birth has scared me.

18, 21, 24

2x MC at 20

First two were difficult labours, both pooped inside me and became distressed, cord wrapped around their necks, had to be induced, one needed ventouse delivery after placenta started coming away during labour. 3rd DC i had to have CVS as high risk for Down syndrome but all was fine.

rtyjnbvftgyj · 29/11/2023 22:36

26
Tried for 6 months, then I had a miscarriage, then got pregnant the next cycle.
No health problems.

Fourcandleforkhandle · 29/11/2023 22:37

Had First at age 22 ( 2 months before 23rd Birthday). Married at age 21.
Son will be 21 in January. I am 43 years old.

Cantbeardarknights · 29/11/2023 23:28

28 32 36

all easy. To be honest looking back 28 was too young, I should have done 32,34,36 I was the first of my friends and should have not rushed.

Mercury2702 · 29/11/2023 23:30

19, fell pregnant straight away, had positive pregnancy test few weeks after stopping the pill. No major health problems but became anaemic during pregnancy and diagnosed with an under active thyroid post pregnancy

Carsarelife · 29/11/2023 23:31
  1. Conceived straightaway. Was desperate for a daughter and fortunately that's what I got
AlltheFs · 29/11/2023 23:33

Almost 41 at conception, no health issues. Took less than 12 months.

theprincessthepea · 29/11/2023 23:39

19 unplanned - easy pregnancy

31 unplanned - physically exhausting pregnancy but healthy

milliemermaid · 30/11/2023 00:00

I miscarried at 22.
Fell pregnant very quickly (with no bleed in between), had my beautiful daughter at 23.

AudreyJL · 30/11/2023 00:06

25, unplanned. Dtd 6 days post ovulation 😅 pregnancy was straightforward and low risk until 39 weeks when suspected preeclampsia. Went into spontaneous labour and had baby 39+6 after 31 hours in labour

mondaytosunday · 30/11/2023 00:11
  1. Four months. I developed type 1 diabetes during my pregnancy but my boy was fine. Second 43. Four months. She was a bit unwell after birth (three days in NICU) but ok after that and I was fine.
jadey1991 · 30/11/2023 00:11

nokidshere · 30/11/2023 00:40

I was 39 when I had my first.

That was 17 years after I started ttc! No health problems and no obvious reasons for not getting pregnant. About 13yrs of active ttc and various treatments and then fell pregnant 4yrs after we stopped actively trying.

I was 41 when I had my second. Completely unexpected and with no assistance at all.

Sparkle88K · 30/11/2023 00:46

34 years old, it took around 1 year to conceive naturally with a small break in the summer.

I was starting to think something might be wrong as TTC took longer than I hoped. We decided to book a holiday to take my mind off things & I fell pregnant the same month.

My baby boy is now 7 weeks old Smile

SammyScrounge · 30/11/2023 02:05
  1. No problems
ShippingNews · 30/11/2023 03:20

LingTerm · 30/11/2023 03:39

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/11/2023 03:42

Almost 44

Wanted to be 32/33 but Mother Nature didn't play ball

10yrs ttc - unexplained infertility

5 private ivf and 5th go finally got
My One and only bfp and mini blondes is now almost 7

Had hg. Wasn't great tbh - very sick and heaving and spitting in bin but worth it to have her

But due to my age and hg it's why she is an only child

But I'm fine with that and forever grateful I'm a mummy

Roselilly36 · 30/11/2023 03:50

29 fell for DS1 first mth of TTC, easy pregnancy, easy birth, tear that required surgery.
30 fell for DS2 first mth of TTC, easy pregnancy, very rapid, easy birth, small tear that healed naturally after a few weeks.
