Any ideas other than the usual Rice Krispie cakes?
thank you

Leftover Easter eggs?! Sorry, not a concept I’m familiar with.

WhatCanWeDoNext · 12/04/2023 21:58

Can you make hot chocolate drinks with them?

Fizzadora · 12/04/2023 21:59

No such thing. Eat them

Surely you just have some for pudding each day until they are used up?

LiliLil · 12/04/2023 21:59

What are they?

Purplerainpurplesky · 12/04/2023 22:00

Melt them and dip strawberries, marshmallows, biscuits in

ReadersD1gest · 12/04/2023 22:00

God, how is this a dilemma?

Willowtre1 · 12/04/2023 22:01

So odd! Why can't you gradually eat them. If you want them out the house then donate to family/friends or take to work

Dontlistitonfacebook · 12/04/2023 22:01

Leftover Easter Eggs are not a thing.

Aposterhasnoname · 12/04/2023 22:01

Surely you just eat them over the next few days weeks.

SkiingOnATrampoline · 12/04/2023 22:05

Eat them over the next few days, weeks, months?

My kids have loads, they’ll get through them.

<Awaits arrival of teeny tinies, competitive under eaters, and talk of multiple grams of sugar and the obesity crisis.>

Mumma2Ro · 12/04/2023 22:06

haha thanks all!
yes we will be eating them over the next couple of weeks. But just wondered if anyone had any ideas of things to do with them.
a friend told me she melts them down to make fudge which I thought was a cool idea

Let the kids have them in whatever quantity you think is appropriate until they're gone.

Don't try and make crispie cakes out of them. They must do something to it so the eggs keep their shape or something, but Easter Eggs don't melt like other chocolate I've tried

vodkaredbullgirl · 12/04/2023 22:09

Nothing lasts in my house.

Magaluf · 12/04/2023 22:10

Seems such a waste to melt them down as they’re more expensive than ordinary chocolate.

TulipsAndDaisiesAndBlossom · 12/04/2023 22:11

Donate to food bank.

Needapadlockonmyfridge · 12/04/2023 22:11

What's one of those? 😁

This! And they taste better. Send them my way! We have run out... Admittedly we didn't have many to start with.

Slimjimtobe · 12/04/2023 22:13

Ours have gone but to be fair they only got two each but they would be lovely in a rocky road (you could chop up the bars too to add to them)

or melt and have on your pancakes or waffles

LordEmsworth · 12/04/2023 22:14

It's only 3 days after Easter. Is it really a case of "if you haven't eaten it all in 72 hours, I'll assume you don't want it"?

Hedonism · 12/04/2023 22:16

You could do what we usually do - keep them lying around gathering dust for a few weeks, and then put them in a cupboard and forget about them until they have gone stale 🤦🏼‍♀️

We don't even get that many eggs, but my DC aren't massively into chocolate (weird) and I feel guilty eating it for them.

This.

When my dc got loads, when they were little, they were just rationed out over the next few weeks.

MorehouseplantsPls · 12/04/2023 22:18

Ours don’t all get eaten over the weekend, as they get waaaay to many off grandparents.

We just take stuff like the bars they get with the eggs or packs of smarties/Maltese’s etc out with us on days out. For snacks.

DD2 took a whole cadburys big egg (not extra large I may add) to the cinema this week 😂😵
