nope

BigBadMouse · 05/02/2008 23:45

maybe it has got the pocket though because this one has apparently but it's not obvious in the photo from what I can see

BigBadMouse · 05/02/2008 23:48

ere babyjj just had a thought - do you know your much-wanted orange bamboozle is likely to fade pretty quickly? My orange rainbow bots faded very quickly when I put them on the line in the sun some colours seem to fade more than others.

err..

28 little lambs
6 bamboo little lambs
3 totbots (just brought 5 more from my sister so actually 8)
2 small nappies (not sure of the name)
1 motherease and have brought another 5 from a Mnetter

SparklyGothKat · 05/02/2008 23:50

oh and tons of prefolds.. Babyjjbaby, have sorted out some for you tonight.

thelittleElf · 05/02/2008 23:53

Oh 'eck i must be tired! I thought the thread title said 'How many babies do you own'

SparklyGothKat · 06/02/2008 00:07

and I have also have to pay for another 5 totsbots. I think I have far too many.

nappyaddict · 06/02/2008 00:11

no idea!!

but i still want all these

nappyaddict · 06/02/2008 00:12

BBM - what do you wash them/soak them in cos that could be what's fading them. tea tree and lavender oil both cause fading.

BigBadMouse · 06/02/2008 11:34

Nappyaddict - they have all been sold on now but at the time they were dry pailed and washed in Ecover. I'm pretty sure it was the bright Cornish sunshine that did it - it also made all my unbleached nappies look bleached

nappyaddict · 06/02/2008 11:38

oh right that's a shame i do lovea bright white nappy though.

moljam · 06/02/2008 11:43

onepieceoflollipop - Thank you, I would love it if you could send them to me! I dont seem to be able to message on here, my email though is: [email protected] Thank you very much, it will really help me out as we are SOO skint! lol. Love washable nappies though!

chloemegjess · 06/02/2008 15:15

oh yer, and I had never realise that tee tree and lavender caused fading! I have been using lavender oil - couple of drops in the nappy bucket and a couple in the fabric conditioner draw!

nappyaddict · 06/02/2008 19:11

try using white wine vinegar instead of the lavender oil it gets rid of all the nasty smells i promise.

chloemegjess · 06/02/2008 21:21

I dont have any white wine vinegar in the house - will normal malt vinegar do?

onepieceoflollipop · 06/02/2008 21:37

chloemegjess I will e-mail you in a bit (if dd2 wakes up then it will be tomorrow not today)

Re the vinegar - I recall a recent discussion on this. Apparently the malt type (white or brown) is the "wrong" sort - I read somewhere itcan leave things a bit "sticky" Having said that I have accidentally been using white malt on nappies and sweaty shirt underarms for a long time and have no intention of wasting the rest of the bottle. What we need is "distilled" rather than male iirc.

I have not noticed a problem with the malt I have been using but wouldn't fancy using it if it was the brown sort you put on chips!!

nappyaddict · 06/02/2008 21:39

you can use distilled malt vinegar or white wine vinegar.

nappyaddict · 06/02/2008 21:40

(that's the clear/white one)

onepieceoflollipop · 06/02/2008 21:47

nappyaddict with a name like yours I am going to trust you re the vinegar. I didn't even know there were different sorts of white vinegar until recently.

chloemegjess have e-mailed you.

onepieceoflollipop · 06/02/2008 21:48

should have typed malt not male obviously

nappyaddict · 06/02/2008 22:05

grapefruit seed extract won't affect the colour btw.

some people use lemon juice but not sure about that one re: colour.

babyjjbaby · 07/02/2008 17:42
