My ex took my 6 year old DS for the weekend on Saturday, he was due to bring him back yesterday evening but did not show up.
He is not anserwing the phone and has not contacted me at all, this is a man who I do not trust and I am worried now.

What do I do? I don't even have his full address as the court deemed it not necessary for me to know!!!

Help

We have 6 pages of bumping...please just let us know if things are ok Pedilia. Nothing else will be said - at least not by me

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 08/01/2008 14:13

Oh well.........

stripeymama · 08/01/2008 14:16

Have been following this but not posted yet.

Don't think she is going to return to tell us what happened

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 08/01/2008 14:21

She was on here last night as well.

stripeymama · 08/01/2008 14:24

Yes I saw that but she went quiet as soon as you mentioned this thread iirc?

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 08/01/2008 16:12

She obviously doesn't want to talk about it anymore.

It is frustrating. We had a similar situation with In Shock and Awe when we all joined in and cared a lot and then we don't get to hear what happened.

Flllightattendant · 08/01/2008 16:14

Maybe it is sensitive ie something legal means she can't discuss it. Maybe someone IRL knows her name on here, etc etc.

Confusing but maybe we need to leave it now.

BITCATKSTHJT · 08/01/2008 16:16

i agree if he is not 2 be trusted n u r worried then u shud fone the police. don't want 2 prob but how is he not 2 be trusted, in wat way, do u think your child is in danger? then don't hesitate n call police

Hope everything ok. sounds like u need 2 go speak 2 a solitor as soon as pos. wen u get ds bk. he shudn't b allowed 2 do this 2 u!

Flllightattendant · 08/01/2008 17:00

Thank you JATSOITS.

Flllightattendant · 08/01/2008 17:10

I hope she has everything under control, it is about her after all, not us and our need for reassurance.

From her post last night I think she sounded Ok so presumably if she needed our help further she would come and ask us.

I think we should respectfully drop it...anyone else?

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 08/01/2008 17:27

I agree.

TheMNPeacekeepingForce · 08/01/2008 17:35

Pedilia - hope you're ok. Just tell everyone not to worry even if you can't say anything else or don't want to.

Bitcat - I'm sure you mean well but some people find it hard to understand 'text speak'. It might be better to type things out in normal English - I know it's tricky as a busy mum but it does help ease communication on here....hope you don't mind me saying this hun.

Flllightattendant · 08/01/2008 18:54

Nicely put mnpkf, sorry if I was a bit rude.

I am typing with one finger so things get a bit, um, paraphrased

TheMNPeacekeepingForce · 08/01/2008 19:14

I couldn't resist one sarcastic word in there though could I....

BITCATKSTHJT · 09/01/2008 10:09

No problem i don't mind i am new to this. Always using text speak sometimes don't even know when i'm doing it. I keep trying to do it at work and then remember i am not texting. Sorry if i confused anyone glad of a little advice. Hope everyone ok and feeling fine this morning. Thanks for advice!

TheMNPeacekeepingForce · 09/01/2008 11:25

Sorry Bitcat and welcome! Just wait until you've been on here a while and start using Mumsnet style abbreviations in real life too - it gets scary when you start saying 'my ds was saying....' and then realise no-one in real life understands what a ds is!
