i find singing relieves the tension ...

i'm a lonely little [dd name] in an onion patch and all i do is cry all day

is a fave!!!

Bozza · 03/03/2007 19:57

D'you know I just can't remember. And I have been there. I have driven up and down the M1 in my pjs with non-sleeping baby in the back so I have been desperate. DH has done the "just shut the f*ck up" line.

singersgirl · 03/03/2007 20:00

I remember yelling "Just go to sleep, you little f*er!" at DS1 when he was twittering in his Moses basket at about 6 weeks or so.

When DD was a baby she was yelling for a feed in her moses basket in my room. DS was yelling in his room (opposite my bedroom) in Time Out for throwing a train at the baby. I was sitting on the floor in the hallway between the two rooms yelling and rocking ...

I don't know what I was yelling, I just wanted to be louder than the two of them

not normally a name changer, even for the really bad stuff! but this is so awful, i am too ashamed.

when ds1 was born i had VERY bad pnd, bordering on psychosis. i yelled at him that i wanted him to die and that i hated him and wished id had an abortion and i hoped id find him dead in the morning.

however, bad as it was, i got through it so if anyone is lurking who has said things like that but is too ashamed to post - you arent mad and you arent bad and you can get through it.

ladylissielou · 03/03/2007 20:16

cod, as i said in my later post, i had severe pnd, didnt mean it obv! 1001, been there hun!

ladylissielou · 03/03/2007 20:17

why can't you just shut up and go to fucking sleep!!!!

At a baby with terrible colic and I was exhausted

At least he didn't understand what I was saying.

vizbizz · 03/03/2007 22:17

I don't think I'll write the worst I have said, I can guarantee it would get me lynched. I don't think I have ever said so many bad swear words in a sting like that before (and I am not shy when it comes to letting it out). I even used a few I normally steer clear of.

Having said that, I was in the worst stage of PTSD and in a lot of pain, and sleep deprived. DS was only about 9 months old. God only knows what the neighbours would have thought if they'd heard it. They are still talking to me, so I think they didn't. wipes brow

NineUnlikelyTales · 04/03/2007 15:58

I said to my 3 week old son at 3am

I don't even like you.

I still feel terrible about that.

I do remember sobbing in the middle of the night to the poor child, it is NOT my fault.

'Please go to f*ing sleep'

'I've had enough of you'

'Anymore of this and i'll sell you to gypsies' (The last one is said in jest..which isn't to infer that i mean the other things i say!)

I'm working on my language around him- pretty soon he's going to understand things, and i need to stop being so bloody impatient/ tired.

DetentionGrrrl · 04/03/2007 16:09

and also 'I'm doing my best!' and 'I don't know what you want!!'

Sobernow at the vomit thing

My mother once yelled at me in the car, 'You only feel sick when we go somewhere you don't like'

30 sec later I puked all down the back of her neck.

KoshkaAndJake · 04/03/2007 16:17

at the moment, my ds is crawling around in my mums very unsafe house. i say-

"DO NOT TOUCH THE SOCKETS!!! Do you want to die, really do you??? Wellif thats what you want then FINE!"

i said it once then realised how mean i am.
