That's it really! Just wanted to see the general opinion... following a conversation I had at work! Grin

(Currently, used to be as above, except 45 mins-1hr of crying, winging and mucking about faster book)

thecatsclinkers · 18/10/2016 19:51

3 years old and bed at 7. She needs 12 hours at least.

She has dinner at 530/6.

6 years old, actually asleep around 9pm.
Bath 7.15ish, messing about and us reading till about 8, then she reads in bed for anything between 20 mins and an hour.
Never been an early to bed child.

joellevandyne · 18/10/2016 19:53

2.5 and 4. In room for stories 6.30, lights out before 7pm. The four-year-old drops off by himself within 5-10 mins but the 2.5-year-old needs company for up 15-30 minutes while she goes to sleep.

MissCalamity · 18/10/2016 19:57

Just sat in 2.6 year old's room in the dark, she has been messing about at bedtime since we changed her cot to a cot bed last week. Normally she goes down at 7.30pm & 6 nights out of 7 will sleep through.

6.10 year old goes between 8-9pm depending on how long it takes the younger one to go off (so not to disturb her)

RueDeWakening · 18/10/2016 20:00

9 - 8pm on a school night, 8.30pm Fri/Sat.

6 - 7.30 on a school night, 8pm Fri/Sat.

3 - between 7 & 7.30pm.

kavvLar · 18/10/2016 20:00

Right old performance here.

Settle 2 year old first, start about half seven, stories milk and cuddles then she's down between eight and half eight, at which point I turn my attention to her 6yo sister who requires stories and cuddles to sleep.

That finishes about nine at which point I am ready to jump out the window, but also trying to remember to appreciate the cuddles as they won't last forever. Starting earlier doesn't make any difference, can't settle them together as different bedrooms and they work each other up. If DH is here he does oldest and I do youngest but when he's on late and night shifts it's a challenge.

HeadDreamer · 18/10/2016 20:01

5 and 2. Bath at 7, then stories, and in bed 7.30-8.

kavvLar · 18/10/2016 20:01

To be fair they both sleep through the night and wake about 7:30am so not all bad.

literallytotally · 18/10/2016 20:02

9 and 7pm. Sometimes reads for 20 mins and sometimes goes straight to sleep.

Up between 6am and 7am

Fairybells · 18/10/2016 20:04

My 3 year old goes to bed at 8 pm, since she was a baby. My 7 month old goes to bed at 6 pm, both bedtimes have come naturally for them.

TheEagle · 18/10/2016 20:06

3 yo and 1.5 yo DTs. All go up between 6.45-7 and DTs are asleep by 7/7.10.

3 yo has 2/3 stories and is usually asleep by 7.30 at the latest.

Ellieboolou27 · 18/10/2016 20:09

4 year old dd bed at 7 in the week, 7.30-8 at weekends, up at 6am regardless of bedtime
13 month old dd same bedtime but sleeps till 8.30-9am

Dinner at 5pm

Muddlingthroughtoo · 18/10/2016 20:09

5 year old and 8 year old in bed by 7.15, 8 year old reads until 8ish.

Schmoochypoos · 18/10/2016 20:11

I aim for 7ish for both DS1 (3) and DS2 (1). Dinner at 5, up for a bath at 6, stories in DS1's bedroom with DS2. Quick cuddle with DS2 and then down in his cot in his room, back into DS1's room for one more 'bigger boys' book and then lights out. It seems whatever time they go to bed they still wake up at 6am so I might as well get them down earlier rather than later.

Mummyoftwo91 · 18/10/2016 20:14

2yo 6pm,5yo 7pm

NoCapes · 18/10/2016 20:16

7 year old - bed at 8, lights out 8:30

5 year old - bed at 7:45, lights out 8

11 month old - he's in the process of dropping from 2 daytime naps to 1 - so if he has his afternoon nap he goes to bed around 8:30, if he doesn't have it he goes to bed around 7

Justwanttoweeinpeace · 18/10/2016 20:16

3.5, goes at 7:30.

lightsandresistance · 18/10/2016 20:18

13 year old goes at 9.30pm
Gets up at 6pm

everythingis · 18/10/2016 20:18

Nearly 4 year old and 7 year old share a bedroom by choice so same bedtime. We aim for being up in their room reading by 6.45 and turning the light out between 7?and 7.15. I used to be slacker but when dp moved in he put his foot down about it believing all the strops are exhaustion related. He was right they are both much calmer now.

lightsandresistance · 18/10/2016 20:18

AM not pm !

Mistletoekids · 18/10/2016 20:19

8mo and 2.8yo both asleep by 7.30-8 when all the bartering is done with

Wake up 7.30-8 too, although 8mo will have a BF about 3am

Thinking maybe that's a bit late now! But DH doesn't get in till 530'and likes to spend time with us all

Buttwing · 18/10/2016 20:20

2 yo at 7
3 yo at 7
6 yo at 7.30 in the week 8.00 at weekend
11 yo at 8.30 in the week and 9.00 at the weekend, she really needs her sleep.

WilliamHerschel · 18/10/2016 20:20

Reading these is making me despair. My 2 year old, who doesn't nap in the day goes to sleep anywhere between 8 and 10 (and sometimes later). She wakes up at 7.30.
