That's it really! Just wanted to see the general opinion... following a conversation I had at work! Grin

9.5mo 7.30 with no fuss (usually!)

refusetobeasheep · 18/10/2016 19:37

5 (nearly 6) in bed at 8pm. Just won't sleep more than 10 hours!

gininteacupsandleavesonthelawn · 18/10/2016 19:37

Age 5 goes between 6:45 and 7:15 on a school night, wee bit later at weekend but not much. She sleeps till 7:30am, often later if I let her. Re dinner on nights she's having a bath ah eats something quick at 5:30ish, others we eat early with her at 6ish.

DD (10) 9.30, DS (12) 10 on school nights. We've never had completely rigid bedtimes, sometimes it's earlier, sometimes later. They've always gone on the late side compared to their peers but sleep well and get up when they need to.

PipersPiping · 18/10/2016 19:38

My 6 yr old goes at 8.15, 11 yr old at 9.30.

neversleepagain · 18/10/2016 19:38

Twins, 4. On pre school days they are asleep by 6:30pm and they wake around 7:30am. Non pre school days bedtime is 7pm and again they wake around 7:30am.

gamerwidow · 18/10/2016 19:38

6 yo 8pm in the week and no bedtime at weekends. On the no bedtime nights we do 'film night' so she goes into my bed at 8pm to watch a film before falling asleep in my bed.

NapQueen · 18/10/2016 19:39

cazz dinner at 4 at CMS, supper at 6 after her bath. Dh and I eat after they are in bed.

gamerwidow · 18/10/2016 19:40

Also Dd wakes up at 6 regardless of whether she's gone to bed at 8 of midnight

KP86 · 18/10/2016 19:40

2.5yo, into bed between 6:30 and 7:30 (usually close to 7pm) depending on his nap during the day and how tired we all are.

5/7 nights we don't hear from him again, the other two nights can be half an hour of to and fro, but ultimately he is pretty easy.

Very rare to sleep past about 6am. Last winter I trained him to almost 8, but it hasn't happened yet this year!

Bonnie152 · 18/10/2016 19:40

2 and 3.5yr old - dinner at 5:30-6, both in bed by 7. They go straight to sleep as they are both exhausted from nursery and are back up again at 6am.

Ausernotanumber · 18/10/2016 19:40

18-28 the ones with their own houses I have no idea.

The 18 year old whenever she likes usually after me.

2catsandadog · 18/10/2016 19:41

2 years of age and he is in bed by 7pm, having had dinner, bath, milk and cuddles. He's awake by 7.30 everyday. And he is full of energy, and no naps. (sob)

Nativitylobster · 18/10/2016 19:42

3yo goes to bed between 6.30 and 7.30 depending on how tired he is. 7 month old goes to bed after his last feed which at the moment is about 10.

thiswayplease · 18/10/2016 19:43

3yo and 6yo, both go between 7.30-8.30. Sometimes the 6yo 9pm. They get up between 7.30-9 am depending if it's a school day, more often than not I have to wake them about 8am for school. They quite often sleep for 12-13 hours

Thirtyrock39 · 18/10/2016 19:44

All my three (aged 4/ 8 and 10) go about 7-7:30 as only want to do one bedtime but oldest reads till about 8. They all wake about 630/7 . Prob shd let 10 yr old stay up later

Avebury · 18/10/2016 19:44

5 year old 7.30 ish, 7 year old 8.30 and 9 year old at 9. All very flexible though

mishmash1979 · 18/10/2016 19:45

13&15 yr olds = whenever they r tired so usually 9.30-10.30. 6&7 yr old are in bed at 7.15-7.30 after songs and kisses but can read quietly till 8 if they want but we leave the room at 7.30.

TasteLikeCherryChapstick · 18/10/2016 19:45

11 & 12 they go to bed at 9 and get up at 6.30 during the week. Later on weekends.

shatteredstudentmum · 18/10/2016 19:47

My 6 yo is usually lights out at 7.30, 10 yo we say goodnight about 7.50 and he turns his light out by 8.15

Although tonight we're completely out of routine and 6yo is still here watching pointless Hmm

LuchiMangsho · 18/10/2016 19:49

Nearly 5 year old. Has dinner either at home or at the CM's at 4:45. Home by 5:30 (3 days of the week, I pick up from school 2 days of the week so is home at 3:30). Bath is done by 5:50ish. Then stories and lights out by 6:30. He is almost always asleep immediately or by 7 at the latest. We have had the same routine for a long time as he hasn't napped since he was 2.5.

He has to wake up at 7 am for school, which starts at 8:15, so needs the full 12 hours when he can.

Eminybob · 18/10/2016 19:50

2, upstairs at 7 for bath and book, then in bed by 7 and straight to sleep.

TheRedCarWon · 18/10/2016 19:50

The 4 y old goes to bed at 7
The 5 y old goes up at 7.30

We have to wake them at 6.30 on a weekday morning and they sleep as long as they want on a weekend (usually until about 7.30)

Thirtyrock39 · 18/10/2016 19:50

Hmmm I'm thinking maybe my girls shd be staying up a bit later ...ill be honest though by 7 I've run out of things to do with them - and I need some quiet time ...do people let them stay up late (older children my older ones are 8 and 10 yo share a room) in their rooms or downstairs ??

Hulababy · 18/10/2016 19:51

14y DD tends to go to bed a bit after 9pm - thats when it is time for tablets/laptop/phone to be turned off. She goes up and will sometimes read, sometimes straight to sleep. She likes her sleep - gets up at 6:45am for school.

Weekends and holidays - very flexible, but no later than us. If a normal night in on a weekend, with no one round she'd probably head up around 10pm.
