4, dd=13, dd =10, ds 7 & ds = nearly 2. Definately no more - altho I've already said that 3 times. And the oldest 2 are far more trouble than the youngest 2!

Hi. New to mumsnet - love it already. This topic really interests me...I am 33 and have had ME for 11 years. I have a wonderful 3 year old son but am really struggling at the moment with the decision whether to have any more. My health is sometimes not great, although I do have periods of remission occasionally. My son was very ill at birth - suspected cerebral palsy - and we were in and out of hospital with him for a year . In fact he was only discharged last summer. He is now very well but the trauma of those first few months will stay with me for the rest of my life. I was diagnosed with PND sometime after his birth but never found a medication that suited me so have just been battling through it. I know I am being pathetic and selfish but the thought of another baby and the prospect of something going wrong fills me with terror - I just can't get past it. The other worry is the the doctors could find no reason why my son had all the problems he did - was it my ME to blame? Nobody seems to know. Have any other mumsnetters found themselves in a similar situation and what did they do?

I have 3: 2 girls aged 8 & 6 and a 4-week-old boy, and that's definitely our lot - no more bedrooms!
