We have 4 - no. 4 was unplanned just before my 40th birthday, and made me feel I'd finished. There's quite a big gap between 3 and 4. We also lost a baby - one of my dds is a twin, and her sister died at 24 hours.
Holidays are getting so expensive - now no.4 is 2 flights are mad prices, and we need a big car. Wouldn't change them for the world even though I feel v old and knackered.

2, DS and DD.

There may be more in the future, but don't think so.

Sparkler1 · 09/08/2006 10:14

kaloo - you would never kill a thread saying that. You are mum to three children and so you should be proud to say it. I have a really good friend who is the same as you. She had a little boy who died after birth, she also has two beautiful daughters who are alive and well. She always talks openly about her son.

Me, I have two daughters. DH and I always said we would have two children. My feelings have changed and I quite fancy having just one more - but would I stop there, I ask myself.

Somanybabyseagulls · 11/08/2006 20:44

Between us 7, but only five live with us full time - 21, 19, 14, 13, 11, 10 and 7.

TooTicky · 11/08/2006 20:51

4, aged 9, 7, 4 and 1. I love children. I love babies. I even love being pregnant.

WideWebWitch · 11/08/2006 20:54

I have
ds, aged 8.5 with ex dh and
dd, aged 2.8 with dh2

Absolutely don't want any more although I have fleeting moments of thinking 'ooh should we, just one last little one?' but no, I know we don't want another really.

fuzzimal · 11/08/2006 21:09

Ive got 3 girls 16, 4 ,3.
if dd3 had been our first then she would be our last !
Im all done now thankfully. Dont like babies anymore.

Somanybabyseagulls · 11/08/2006 21:28

None of ours our with my dh, would looooooveee to have had his baby (we were childhood sweethearts), but sadly not to be, none of ours are together.

lucykate · 11/08/2006 21:31

we have 2, dd aged 4, and ds aged 1. not having any more.

amateurmum · 11/08/2006 21:44

I have 3 and would like a fourth (if I can persuade dh). If I'm being totally honest though I don't know if I really want another child or just can't bear the thought of the 'last baby'.

Thomcat · 11/08/2006 21:46

I have 3, all wonderful ds's ( 7, 4 and 18mo ) woud love a 4th ..but I am 41..... ho hum!

Blondilocks · 11/08/2006 23:14

I have one (aged 7).

OH & I have discussed it & we'd like another in a few years, and possibly a third if we have a second girl, but I do like the idea of only having 2 children. I definitely wouldn't want more than 3 children but that is just me.

zaphod · 11/08/2006 23:22
