here's a thread killer

I am a mother of three
I have two living children

  • anyone else in my situation will know how much it means to be able to say that.
Neena28 · 07/08/2006 17:29

Have a 11 year old step daughter and i have a five year old son and 1 year old daughter.

BlueBluePink · 07/08/2006 17:46

I would have more, the idea of having more sounds nice to me but i think maybe the reality could be stressful and far more hard work then i think - so maybe not

Elibean · 07/08/2006 17:48

Kaloo, not a thread killer...good for you for saying it. I can't begin to imagine life in your shoes, but if I were in them I'd do the same. xxx

Elibean · 07/08/2006 17:49

muma, reckon saying 'our 4th' is a bit of a giveaway....I could almost SEE him/her...

muma3 · 07/08/2006 17:53

should you put off having children due to house size though it just doesnt seem right some how ? if you want a baby should you just try to have a baby ? what are the deciding factors? car/house/dining table etc should they really matter enough to stop you having that longed for child?

just curious

expatinscotland · 07/08/2006 18:17

Muma
We live in a tiny 2-bed flat on the 2nd floor and that's all we can afford to rent. The average price of a 2-bed home is £200,000.

It's been a major deciding factor in our family size.

People can chose as they like, but for us, it would be insanity to bring up so many small children in such a small place.

muma3 · 07/08/2006 19:10

i think its really sad that these things do have to make such a difference though tbh

WelshBoris · 07/08/2006 19:13

I have 1 DD aged nearly 2

That is enough thank you

expatinscotland · 07/08/2006 19:15

kaloo

I have 2 and am 20 weeks pg with my third. I expect this will be our last. I don't want to have to move from our fairly small house.

cazboldy · 07/08/2006 19:20

I have 4.
Don't know how many I will end up with!

jac34 · 07/08/2006 19:22

DH and I have twin boys(7yo) and he has a DD(12 today),I would love more but DH says the boys have tired him out too much
We proberbly will not have any more now,the age gap is getting bigger all the time,DH is 42 and I'm 38,but I'd try again tomorrow if only I could change his mind.

LadyTophamHatt · 07/08/2006 19:24

I'm 18 weeks PG with our 4th
