BL: how is toby?

bambooshoots · 28/07/2006 04:56

he's ok ... was 8lb 2 on sunday so had put on 14 z in 10 days .. making up for lost time i think!and was weighed today and is 8lb 9oz so a further 5oz in 4 days .. i am very annoyed though as i was looking through his red book today and looked at the weight that he was when he lost weight. i noticed in grams it was only 4g off his birth weight - 7lb 4.5, yet it had been converted to only 7lb 1oz. so in actual fact he never lost weight GRRR! i'm really grateful for them creating extra worry and stress for no reason ... NOT.

Swaddlebees velour, definitely, the onesize as it dries quickly and is lovely and soft

BonyM · 28/07/2006 08:27

Wouldn't be without my Bamboozles and Woolywraps. Also my Happy Heinys when I'm in a hurry.

FlameSparrow · 28/07/2006 09:13

Updating for me with a quick wam-bamboo shout . I got my blue ones last week and they are loooooovely.

BonyM · 28/07/2006 13:49

I wish everyone would stop talking about great new nappies - don't know if have the willpower to not buy any more...

Just off to google that wambamboo again (almost tempted last time you mentioned it Flame) .

BonyM · 28/07/2006 13:50

Hmmm - top hit is an Asian dating service!

expatinscotland · 28/07/2006 13:52

Bamboozle w/Motherease Rikki wrap. All the way!

Runner up: Kissaluv

maisiemog · 28/07/2006 23:51

I haven't tried the wam-bamboo, but I have put it on the nappyreview blog here but so far no reviews. So for all you Wam-bamboo enthusiasts please post a review for me to read.

BonyM · 29/07/2006 11:19

Hope you're all please with yourselves (and I'm mainly blaming flame and vkone here ) - I've just ordered a wam-bamboo and a swaddlebees velour...

BonyM · 29/07/2006 11:19

"pleased"

Pollyanna · 29/07/2006 11:30

is there a website for wam-bamboo nappies?

Peanutgant · 29/07/2006 12:55

I love my Tots Bots with Nature Babies popper wraps. Although I am tempted by Swaddlebees velour ones.... but I can't buy any more stuff or my DH might divorce me ;)

nappyaddict · 29/07/2006 13:20

wam bamboo

FlameSparrow · 29/07/2006 19:17

Mwahahahaha!!! I really should be on commission for wambamboo. Just getting a review sorted for you now maisie

nappyaddict · 29/07/2006 20:52

maisie could you add the nappies i posted a link to on this thread in your blog please?

maisiemog · 30/07/2006 09:45

Nappyaddict, can I just check, do you mean you would like me to add a link from the blog to the
Wam-Bamboo website?
I was just wondering if you had noticed that there is already a link on most threads - but it's not that obvious. You have to click on the name of the nappy and it takes you to the website. It's the way the blog sets up links.
Or am I completely barking up the wrong tree?

nappyaddict · 31/07/2006 01:22

no a link to these please!

VKOne · 31/07/2006 08:45

those are wam-bamboo I believe, they look identical bar the label. I've got a load of links to different bamboo (theres another one out there too called babaloo)

here

maisiemog · 31/07/2006 23:58

I have emailed the people at Go Green to find out what type of nappy that is? I'll let you know what they say.

dunlopkj · 09/08/2006 21:05

Hmm, probably a bit behind the times but I really like Easy Peasy Bumbles: wash well, fit well, dry easily and comfortable against baby.
Mother-ease fit well too.
Have only ever used Mother-ease wraps.

Least favourite nappy: Original totbots: too bulky, hard to dry, they get tough and there are loads of other options much better.

Cherylynne · 10/08/2006 12:57

i love reading threads like this as I'm always amazed at the amount of differnet nappies out there - was at a campaign for real nappies event a wee while ago and they only had on show tots, motherease and a couple of others. This thread doesn't half make you want to spend money though!

maisiemog · 11/08/2006 02:28

As an update to my previous email the Go Green people said the nappy they sell is the Babaloo ( I hope that is spelt correctly - I'm up late P )
I have added it to the cloth nappy blogspot so if anyone has tried it please feel welcome to add a review - none so far.
the blog link is here
