I have to have the standards (tots, bumbles, kissaluvs etc)
BUT

I also love my wee-notions, and my clwt twt.

expat - I keep dribbling over size 0 kissaluvs. Will probably fit my newborn for all of an hour!

expatinscotland · 20/05/2006 22:22

size 2 all the way here! she's a chubby wee buddha.

Skyler · 20/05/2006 22:42

Love love love Kissaluvs (and got the size 0's onto dd2 for a little bit).
Motherease airflow wraps and wool wraps by Erica at www.SimonsCustomCloth. Great US WAHM but she is shut for the summer I have just seen.....Her wraps are brilliant though, great quality and so much choice.

that's it, i'm gonna try the kissaluvs.

lunavix · 20/05/2006 22:58

expat - kissaluvs are absolutely gorgeous. THey're such a snug fit. I've bought a ton in size 1 for the new baby, and have now got in a few size 0s even though I can't find any tiny diddy wraps I like!

I could send you a couple of size 2s to borrow, but they're a little grey and weathered now :)

I never find that kissaluvs hold as much as I'd like :(

MrsD - You got the bumgenius then? Grin

joolee · 21/05/2006 00:36

As a recent convert from disposables I have found the Bumgenius very easy to use on my 2.4y DS. Incentive being that they will be used on the new baby in July too as they are BTP!

A bit expensive but much cheaper from the USA. :)

MrsDoolittle · 21/05/2006 22:39

Yeah, I got the BumGenius and I find myself returning to the foray - which nappies do I want this time?
Bumgenius, bamboozles, waffles, the list goes on and how many?
Sad
I think this little chap is going to be a heavy wetter though.

PiccadillyCircus · 21/05/2006 22:56

Ooh, those clwt twt nappies look nice. And in colours that aren't just pastel.

MrsDoolittle · 21/05/2006 23:00

Don't we all Piccadilly?

Hence my need to sell some Grin

PiccadillyCircus · 21/05/2006 23:01

Thank you for the nappies which came yesterday Smile.

lunavix · 21/05/2006 23:02

I really like the clwt twt

MrsD, what are you doing for pottytraining little miss d? I'm assuming she isn't trained yet.

Where should I look to find bumgenius?

misdee · 21/05/2006 23:04

lunavix, i love longies. i get dd3's longies from babylonglegs and puddlepants. the babylonglegs ones are a tad pricey but are knitted to order IIRC. dd3's ones are a fab fit. and no leaks with them ever!

MrsDoolittle · 21/05/2006 23:05

Lunavix - The natural baby resource and it's all a slippery slope from there, although I bought mine from nappymania (no postage and they would buy it back at 90% if you don't like it)

I desperately want to potty train Miss Doolittle now.Her nappies have been gross lately

MrsDoolittle · 21/05/2006 23:06

Great Piccadilly! I'm pleased.

lunavix · 21/05/2006 23:08

misdee I was eyeing them up until I saw \link{http://www.flowerpottots.co.uk/\these}

The pink flowery ones.. the blue stripey ones.... yummy. It'll be my first foray into wool though!

MrsD - are you thinking of any pull up styles? I've been looking at the minki pull ups but he'd be an XL! He's only a few pounds off 30. He does quite a few wees in the potty, and the odd poo, but I don't know if pull up reusables are designed for when we both forget...

OP posts:
lunavix · 21/05/2006 23:09

the one's I love are the pink flower longies under wool soakers.. dribble!

OP posts:
misdee · 21/05/2006 23:10

oh they are lovely. once the money situation is sorted i want to get dd3 some wool shorties for the summer nights/evenings.

MrsDoolittle · 21/05/2006 23:10

Lunavix - GO TO BED - Sleep while you can!!! Seriously, you need it.

Anyway, I haven't looked into trainer pants yet, although I was telling myself today that I should.

We need to get together Lunavix Smile

lunavix · 21/05/2006 23:11

Yes yes we do, I need to come cuddle a chicken Grin

I've talked dh around.. 60% into an eglu.. so still need some work!

OP posts:
MrsDoolittle · 21/05/2006 23:14

We'll definitely get together.
I'll CAT you tomorrow. I have to go to bed now -I'm shattered.

Night nightSmile

maisiemog · 22/05/2006 12:46

I just noticed you were talking about Clwt Twt and I thought I would post this \link{http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CLWT-TWT-BAMBW-GREEN-AND-WHITE-BAMBOO-NAPPY-NEW_W0QQitemZ7768752295QQcategoryZ26269QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem\link} to the new bamboo version.
I only have one clwt twt, but find it a lovely fit and very absorbent (it's the cotton version).
Oh and also for ExpatinScotland I thought you might find this \link{http://usclothnappies.blogspot.com\link} useful if you are considering some US nappies. Another cloth mum and I have started this US nappy blog for people considering US WHAM nappies. There will be more photos going on soon.Smile

PiccadillyCircus · 22/05/2006 13:20

There's only one of the bamboo ones left now (there were two before).

Guess who bought it BlushGrin.
