that's the one my friend bought, it's v similar to Wam-bamboo as it has the loose booster but the velcro on it is a different kind with the hooks and the catch woven in the same strip (I have no idea what that is called).

I'll ask her if she'll post a review

Cannot face reading all 77 messages in case someone has already said this, but would not recommend Cotton Bottoms - cloth bit not thick enough.

maisiemog · 11/08/2006 23:39

Oh that would be great Mrs Wagkone...
I hate when I post a nappy and nobody reviews it, poor old nappy all alone (violin music) unloved...
sniff!
Actually come to think of it I put Bumbeano and April Cottage on the website and nobody has reviewed them either, and I think they are pretty good nappies. So if you know anyone that has tried either of them....

What's up with Clwt twt, there are none available on ebay!

maisiemog · 13/08/2006 23:18

Chipmonkey - the lady that makes Clwt Twt isn't on Mumsnet, but she said it was OK to pass on her website address which is www.clwttwt.co.uk, it's still under construction, but her email address is on there if you are after a nappy.
Last I heard she was sewing nappies and is expecting some bamboo velour soon to make ultra soft nappies - like cotton velour but softer and more gorgeous.

Baby Beehinds and wam bamboo my favourite but can't wait to get my baby beehinds bamboo fleece one size as they are meant to be excellent and come in lots of different colours.

WeWishUAMerryXmasNANappyNewYr · 08/12/2006 00:18

i contacted go green and they said their nappy was the wam bamboo ... odd!!

maisiemog can you add this to your blog.

WeWishUAMerryXmasNANappyNewYr · 08/12/2006 00:33

also nappies are good.

redbeki · 20/12/2006 22:44

pre-folds,with junior joy outers, coz they're sooooo damn cheap, and fab.least half of price of most others

satine · 20/12/2006 22:47

I love bamboozles, with mothereaze wrappers, but my absolute favourite is the lollipop rainbow fleece nappy. I don't know how it works, but I assume it's by magic, as both of my heavy wetting children have slept in them and never once leaked. And both children say that they are very comfortable.

whenevilgotstuckupthechimney · 21/12/2006 15:54

i love bright bots terry squares - dd is getting pink ones for xmas! i like totsbots wraps too - some of my rl friends have had trouble with them, but i find they fit lovely over terry nappies. you can find unusual ones on ebay if you look regularly enough - i've got a blue totsbots wrap with cute snails on it!!

redbeki · 22/12/2006 13:56

fleece is magic,I use fleece liners, when pad gets wet underneath, wraps seem to stay dry! they're great, and washable too.How does it work? havnt tried fleece nappies tho.

redbeki · 22/12/2006 13:57

oops,meant liners,not wraps1

mammaduck · 22/12/2006 14:14

Slight hi-jack, but have any other cloth-nappy users found difficulty finding clothes to fit?

Now my DS is 15 months I am having a total mare trying to find warm trousers that fit over the nappy.

Am fed up that so many clothes manufacturers don't consider the extra bulk of cloth nappies.

For the record, my preferred wraps are Nature Babies with multiple poppers.

Dragonhart · 22/12/2006 19:14

I saw some in m&s which have adjustable waists (abit like maternity trousers) so that you have the room in the bum but pulled in waist.

I have found tescos are quite good for boys, but put my ds in joggers for most of the time as they are so comfy and just stretch. I think a lot of people say dungerees are good, but I find that they either come undone at the crotch or are too long in the leg!

It is a pain though.

Hi Maisymog.
I was wondering if my Buppy pads could be added to your blog.
They aren't nappies but the next step on when potty training.

Just discovered my council does a taster pack and so got delivered 3 new nappies to play with. OMG do I love the nature babies stuffable - it's so soft and squidgy and keeps his bum so nice and dry. Use prefolds as a day nappy but may have to get some stuffables as a night nappy. I never realised cloth nappies would be so much fun or so expensive! This was supposed to be the cheap option - it's addictive! I'm not too keen on the Tots Bot though but maybe will be better when he's a bit bigger... or when it's summertime.
