How are the colds getting on? the younger 2, their noses dried up in about 3 days and ds1 is I'll. Again. Its a very chesty cough so I'll see what he's like tomorrow before I ring the docs.

PurplePidjin · 27/09/2013 07:48

NappyHappy · 27/09/2013 22:45

4?! teefs and week's?! Yay R!!!

We're still on the same number of reefs and I'm not sure if I can feel anymore. Little stinker bit me before too, he likes to chew/suck on my pants (and most fabric really)Hmm and got carried away.

Is the Mio a pocket? What colour did you end up with?

NappyHappy · 27/09/2013 22:45

Wee not week.

PurplePidjin · 28/09/2013 09:02

Dunno what you mean Confused

R has 4 full teeth plus one breaking through

Miosolo is an AIO but microfibre so i boosted with hemp

NappyHappy · 28/09/2013 23:44

It was meant to be yay for 4 hours for the Mio boosted. Darn autocorrect! Does he look really cute with his shiney teeth? Smile

Ds2 has only just gone to sleep too which is not like him at all the normally bed loving chap. I think he was a cat in a past life, he's always climbing up things with no fear and seems to land on his feet. The handle in the lounge door has now been put on upside down so he cant run off and the lower front window has to be keep shut as he tries to get out of that after climbing onto the windowsil. He's 2 next month!

The snots lasted a few days with ds2&3 and ds1 is still being all dramatic with his cough, he is the Sicky kid.

How's the snot/cold situation with you guys?

PurplePidjin · 29/09/2013 19:04

They are very shiny and white! We're now getting a reliable 6-5:30 with one or no wakes. Including last night in the travel cot at MILs - woken by noisy big cousins at 8, bum changed and back down by 8:30 and slept til 6:15!! MIL thinks that's an ungodly hour, but then in the early days she told me in the same breath about both the 4 hourly feeding regime dp was on and how much he cried Hmm

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 30/09/2013 12:57

I'd cry too at being fed four hourly! I think I did, Mum was at the same school of parenting Wink and questioned me at feeding the boys 2 hourly at the start! And is now gutted that I can put them to bed and leave them to fall asleep by themselves.

Those are some very impressive sleep times! Still on a 4am wake up but its only 10 mins or so now. Goes to sleep about 7.

Do you feel better for the extra sleep? I can't believe R is nearly 1! eek!

PurplePidjin · 30/09/2013 21:41

Yeah, because R fed for an hour at a time in the early days, i don't think she realised i was feeding every 2-3 hours - from the start of one feed to the start of the next! He's pretty much dropping his afternoon feed now, just 5 minutes after breakfast, 15-20 for morning nap and 15-20 for bed. I'm doing Don't Offer Don't Refuse now he's big enough to "ask" bite my clothes and shout mumumumum at me

I can't believe Little D already is 1!!

NappyHappy · 06/10/2013 20:35

Yeah, I can't either bless him. I hate being parted from the little thing, think its because he is the last one. He's had a high temp today and been a bit Sad I think its the reef as his mouth was hot. But calpol and cuddles (and a Milkybar earlier on) then a bath made things better.

Ds2 sounds a bit Croup like but he is still the giddy kipper he always is so hopefully he'll not get poorly with it.

Does R bite much? Is it good in a way you are not being booby stalked so you can do stuff on your own then Sad sad as he's growing up and self weaning?

How is dp getting on with his new job?

PurplePidjin · 06/10/2013 20:59

He's stopped biting again now, feeds down to 5-10 minutes then a bit of shouting while he fights sleep! I'm ok, actually, I'm proud of him growing up and looking forward to both proper clothes and chocolate Wink

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 07/10/2013 14:02

Wink and coffee! He does look grown up and looks like the both of you. Titch has 2 more bottom fronts just through now so his temp has gone back to normal but off his food today so must be hurting a bit.

PurplePidjin · 07/10/2013 18:24

We've got the left bottom lateral incisor coming i think, lots of chewing today and struggling with lumpy foods - luckily he eats so well i don't mind a few fruit-and-yoghurt meals :)

Dp loves his job and has sold 3 cars already! Two weeks on Thursday and his target will be 2 per week once he settles in :o

NappyHappy · 08/10/2013 15:58

So things are lookin up all round then for you! Grin Grin

Do you appear to have been invaded with funky looking spiders down your part of the world?

PurplePidjin · 08/10/2013 17:34

No spiders this far south must be a special northern thing Wink

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 08/10/2013 22:45

Yeah, must be Wink Wink hairy feckers. Night combo still working OK? I've bought a potty Sad its that time.

NappyHappy · 11/10/2013 19:24

2 more teeth!

PurplePidjin · 11/10/2013 19:37

Whoop!

Nappy change 5/7 nights but it takes less than 3 minutes, he's usually asleep by the time the nappy hits the bucket :)

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 12/10/2013 16:28

Shock Wink Grin that's brilliant. Still the same here but he varies the wake up so catches me out Wink

PurplePidjin · 12/10/2013 17:35

Yeah ours is anywhere between 1 and 3:30. I just sleep assuming I'll be woken at some point. Soooooo much better than it used to be though!
