Send her a refund and then report her for keeping the goods and the money (can it be done? )

Janh · 06/08/2005 22:18

HMo2, I wasn't saying her feedback was good, I was saying her "product" was well dodgy - she isn't selling anything, just images and links to other things!

kid · 06/08/2005 22:19

I can't drive to south London, I'm a rubbish driver and keep hitting things!

kid · 06/08/2005 22:19

My in-laws live in south London. Could send them round there!

I've put her on my blocked bidders list.

kid · 06/08/2005 22:27

sounds fine. Just sit back and wait to see if she can be bothered to reply now.

I did it via help because I can never find the link.

Agree with Janh - she sounds a very dodgy dealer to me, in spite of 98% feedback. Didn't know that you could block bidders.

You only get to respond once. When you leave her feedback, she has the chance to respond once to that. Try not to let it bother you. Contact Ebay to see if there is anything they can do. I'll see if I can find a link for it.

Gillian76 · 07/08/2005 19:40

I don't think so now, HappyMum.

It's been a dreadful experience for you, but tbh, it doesn't sound like she's the sort to retract her feedback. That would be the only way of undoing this, I think.

I really wouldn't be put off buying from you because of one negative feedback. Some people are so twisted . Easier said than done, I know, but try to put this behind you. A bit more buying and selling and that negative feedback will be long forgotten

Scatterbrain · 07/08/2005 19:43

I would think that as you have that e-mail you would have a very good case for getting her to withdraw that feedback. Contact e-bay about it and they should pursue it with her. She has contradicted herself and is just being malicious !

However, although it is b**y annoying - your feedback is still really good - and people can see from her comments what kind of person she is !

FWIW - I e-bay a lot and that feedback wouldn't affect my perception of you as a seller one little bit - I'd just think she was a bitch !

kid · 07/08/2005 19:45

You can try here to try and get mutual feedback withdrawal, but tbh, I doubt she would do that as she already received positive feedback from you so has nothing to gain.

It really doesn't affect your feedback, you said you offered a refund and have lots of good feedback so people will see you are a fair seller.

Just put it down to experience and maybe add to your listings that if buyer has any problems or questions, they should contact you.

It's really frustrating when you've been honest and done nothing wrong. Def block her- didn't know you could do that, so thanks for that. I've just had a bad experience with someone who bought jammies from me in Canada. Wanted them posted at cheapest rate, which was going to take up to 8 weeks to get there. Then started emailing about when they're going to arrive. And each one getting more sarcastic. I really had to bite my tongue and reply politely. Thankfully they are there now(after said 8 weeks) and she's left positive feedback But now had emails reminding me to leave her feedback!! I've been away on holiday for goodness sake- thats why I 've not done it. ggrrrrrr.
Anyway she's now blocked and I'll think twice about stuff going abroad. Sorry, rant over.
