Following on from the thread that started about shoes and escalated to nearly 500 posts and a boden coat Trinty has emailed me back and we have finalised the list of things needed, if people have these things/have sent them could you post on here so I can amend the list and ensure Trinity doesnt get 345 sippy cups but no tights for dd2

Trinity's wish list
Tights - ages 9-10, 4-5/5-6, 2-3/3-4
socks - sizes 6, 8 and 10
sippy cups -
sheets - single/double or kingsize
bedding - single/double/kingsize
clothes 12/14
adult shoes - size 6,
baby clothes for DSS2's May arrival,
towels
forks
asda vouchers,
chick lit
John Grisham
Toys for the dog to chew :-)
Large saucepans (lots of people to feed in that house!!)
Beautiful Boden COat - sorted by fab mumsnetters

If anyone would like to donate funds (we have enough to get Trinity her new coat and a little bit spare) the paypal address is [email protected] and anything we collect now will be sent to Trinity as Asda vouchers to help with Christmas food/bits shop (I asked Trinity how she would prefer the funds spent and this was one of the ideas and she would really appreciate this)

Thankyou all!!

Still waiting to hear about Trinity's younger DSS's age please, if anyone knows?

stressed2007 · 07/11/2009 14:03

I don't know but hang around and I am sure someone will post answer by the end of the weekend. I will post the question on Trinty's thank you thread as she may have more chance of seeing it there? Thanks

Ponders · 07/11/2009 15:17

Oh thanks, stressed - can't do anything until Mon now anyway so hope I'll know by then

Monty100 · 07/11/2009 20:17

Kadiya · 08/11/2009 03:43

Hi, I know that loads of stuff have been sent, but wondered if there was anything else that the family needed?
I have just had a sort out of my girls clothes and have some 9-10 year old girls stuff I could pass along if it's needed, also got baby things, even some of the big stuff that the family might want or need?
xx

Trinity, do you have a Joggler? If not, would you like one?

I've never used the one I got as part of the MN trial and it's just sat here gathering dust.

stressed2007 · 08/11/2009 19:29

whatls a joggler?

stressed2007 · 08/11/2009 19:41

shockers - address now sent. Thanks

stressed2007 · 08/11/2009 19:43

kadiya all sounds very good - what big stuff might you have? I wil try and direct Trinity if I can find her to your post so that she can answer you. Thanks

stressed2007 · 08/11/2009 19:45

Ponders Dss is 23 6" tall and thin but Trinity does not know his size. HTH. Thanks

Ponders · 08/11/2009 20:52

Thanks, stressed

He's a lot like my son size-wise then, mine is about 6'2 now & thin too but his outgrown clothes might be too small.

I'll go through them anyway & see if any of them look big enough. (Might not be his style either of course but if they're no good Trinity can always Oxfam them or something)

Kadiya · 08/11/2009 22:29

sorry it has taken me so long to come back, my "watching" list didn't update
Just wondered if things like a cot/cot bedding/moses basket/microwave steriliser possibly a pushchair amongst the bigger things would be useful, have some girls clothes for her 9/10 year old? can also pass along some baby clothing? if anything else is needed at all, just say, I've probably got it sitting in a cupboard somewhere

LackaDAISYcal · 08/11/2009 22:44

I've just seen this.

Is there anything still needed? (am thinking of the worn once pair of Clark's size 6 trainers and the size 10 fabric boots that would do for winter and the truckload of baby clothes littering my spare room)

if not, can I contribute to the Christmas fund?

or supply the dog with a bin bag full of old shoes to chew

stressed2007 · 09/11/2009 08:33

Kadiya I am sure all that stuff would be very very much appreciated by Trinity's DSS and girlfriend. I am not sure she has seen this thread yet so will try anf find her. Please can you come back and check this post tonight maybe? Thanks so much

stressed2007 · 09/11/2009 08:36

LackaDAISYcal - I am sure the shoes and the baby clothes (DSS not sure about baby sex at the mo) would be greatly appreciated. Old shoes? good idea will have to ask. Please can you also check back later and will see if Trinity has responded.

If both of you can leave contact emails I can post address details to you once Trinity has reverted.

Thanks so much both of you

shockers · 09/11/2009 09:27

stressed A parcel has been sent. Didn't send the John Grishams as I read that someone was taking the full set!

stressed2007 · 09/11/2009 10:05

Shockers. Yes I think someone did. Thanks so much for sending stuff - I am sure Trinity will very much appreciate. x

LackaDAISYcal · 09/11/2009 11:03

email is daisybump at yahoo dot co dot uk

On second thoughts, maybe encouraging the dog to eat old shoes is a bad idea as I'm not sure he will be adept at telling an old pair from a new pair

stressed2007 · 09/11/2009 11:12

I think that may be right - think that may be what caused the need for the new shoes that started this in the first place.
Hopefully Trinity will be on here at some point today. cheers

milge · 09/11/2009 20:03

Another belated parcel on its way to Trinity today. I didn't send John Grisham's as I thought i read on one of the postings that someone was taking a box full to her.

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 09/11/2009 20:34

OMG GUNPOWDER I WOULD LOVE A JOGGLER!!!
I was so desperate to be part of that trial

lackadaisycal

milge, thankyou x

differentID · 09/11/2009 20:38

Trinity- would you like some hard rubber toys for Duke? They're the only things Kes likes, and if you would like, I can pick them up for you.

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 09/11/2009 20:46

oh different that would be lovely

blondes sent some really cool toys but they were squeaky ones and it didn't take him long to chew through them lol
