Following on from the thread that started about shoes and escalated to nearly 500 posts and a boden coat Trinty has emailed me back and we have finalised the list of things needed, if people have these things/have sent them could you post on here so I can amend the list and ensure Trinity doesnt get 345 sippy cups but no tights for dd2

Trinity's wish list
Tights - ages 9-10, 4-5/5-6, 2-3/3-4
socks - sizes 6, 8 and 10
sippy cups -
sheets - single/double or kingsize
bedding - single/double/kingsize
clothes 12/14
adult shoes - size 6,
baby clothes for DSS2's May arrival,
towels
forks
asda vouchers,
chick lit
John Grisham
Toys for the dog to chew :-)
Large saucepans (lots of people to feed in that house!!)
Beautiful Boden COat - sorted by fab mumsnetters

If anyone would like to donate funds (we have enough to get Trinity her new coat and a little bit spare) the paypal address is [email protected] and anything we collect now will be sent to Trinity as Asda vouchers to help with Christmas food/bits shop (I asked Trinity how she would prefer the funds spent and this was one of the ideas and she would really appreciate this)

Thankyou all!!

FlappyTheBat · 02/11/2009 23:37

have only just seen this thread and I bought what I thought was a double duvet cover from Ikea 2 weeks ago.

Put it on my bed but it was a real struggle to get my double duvet into it, turns out Ikea sell single duvets with 2 pillowcases

so, if you still need single bedding, I have a new cotton duvet cover and 2 pillowcases - might not be a child's choice, it's white with pale grey leafy pattern, 100% cotton.

TheLadyEvenstar · 02/11/2009 23:38

Trinny (cowers now) what style of clothes do you want? I have far too many and it will be the perfect reason for me to sort them out.especially as some are bnwt and sitting in my wardrobe ooppsps

OliviaMumsnet · 02/11/2009 23:41

Must. Press. PREVIEW!
Oops, it is late and I have been Mumsnetting working all day.
at making TR snort.

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 02/11/2009 23:46

erm, I dunno

quirky, floaty, funky, hate green, prefer vest tops to high necked things

dont follow fashion, dont wear much black, love purple, pink and yellow

love long weird hippy skirts, also love short funky skirts for over leggings

love hoodies, dont wear cardis

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 02/11/2009 23:47

oh flappy, that sounds lovely

I reckon dd1 would love to have that for when she wants to be grown up

TheLadyEvenstar · 02/11/2009 23:49

TRINNY hahaha will have a looky see tomoz just one thing I wonder if you will like I love it but have never worn it, still has labels on...

3rd one down on left black with stars

FlappyTheBat · 02/11/2009 23:56

dd1 is welcome to my mistake, my dd's are too young for it, we are still in the pink fairy and farm animal bedroom themes at the minute.

It's been washed but stuffed in a bag, will wash it again, can't promise that it will be ironed as I don't iron although may give the iron a fright and take it out of hiding!

the email address that I use for here, I think is [email protected], let me know how to get it to you and will try to have it washed, dried (scottish weather allowing) and packaged/posted to you on Friday.

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 02/11/2009 23:56

LOVE THAT
why haven't you worn it???

TheLadyEvenstar · 02/11/2009 23:59

Trin tbh i have far too many clothes. thats the only reason....it was an impulse buy and I doubt I will ever wear it you are welcome to it.

FlappyTheBat · 03/11/2009 00:01

Trinity, have replied x

TheLadyEvenstar · 03/11/2009 00:01

do you need nappies? I know it is probably a silly question lol

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 03/11/2009 00:03

dd2 is still in pull ups at night and the new baby will...obviously lol

TheLadyEvenstar · 03/11/2009 00:04

Would you be interested in washable? I have quite a few of them for small babies and also some that are birth to potty

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 03/11/2009 00:06

unfortunately dss2's gf doesn't want to use reusables AT ALL and I'm not going to force her

I've never tried reusables on dd2 when she was this big tbh

I mean she isn't huge but she is in medium huggies pull ups...

TheLadyEvenstar · 03/11/2009 00:08

I can send you some to see how you like them if you want. Also have a newborn car seat that needs a home if interested?

AM off into cellar tomorrow to see what else i have down there lol

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 03/11/2009 00:09

oh goodness me
yes that would be amaxing as I no longer have the new born carseat we had

hadn't thought about all these things we will need

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 03/11/2009 00:10

thanks
xx

hatwoman · 03/11/2009 00:13

eandh I have a virtually unused double-ish duvet cover. I say double-ish because I can't remember whether it's double or king size or something else - part of the reason it's unused is it doesn't fit any of our duvets. could you let me know if trinity would like it and what to do with it?

it's pale blue cotton with a thin cream trim. fairly sure I have a couple of matching pillow cases too.

ViktoriaMac · 03/11/2009 01:47

Hello, just come across this thread after not having internet access over weekend.

Trinity - I have some very lightly worn nice clothes in sizes 12-14 which have been in storage since I've been pregnant, mostly Monsoon, M&S, Top Shop stuff. You and your DSS's girlfriend could go through it all, anything you don't want just pass onto charity shop. (Or otherwise get rid!).

Also for DSS's girlfriend I have 3 pairs of maternity jeans in size 14 which I have only worn to try on, as I just can't get used to wearing trousers (only wore dresses pre-pregnancy and no idea why I thought it a good idea to try and get myself into wearing jeans now of all times!). I have some maternity hoodies too. All maternity clothes are from Mamas and Papas, ASOS, or Blooming Marvellous and all bought in last few months so all good condition and from latest collections. Do you think she would like my babynames book too?

I have emailed eandh to ask for address to send stuff to.

Best wishes, Viktoria

eandh · 03/11/2009 05:50
