I think you've probably got it 2madboys. It was busy and there were a lot of dogs, all of which were on leads in all the right places from what I saw. The woman probably had had enough though, although the child didn't seem to be the one with the problem, I guess that's not the point. I was just the wrong dog owner at the wrong time.

I did say this further down the thread but I'll repeat it - my dog is a Border Terrier, he is about mid-calf (adult leg) in height. I don't think the size of the dog is an issue though - if you're scared of them, you're scared of them, regardless of size and the little ones can be just as dangerous as the big ones.

It was the dirty look that needled me. I think the big diva-style sweeping up of the child would have barely bothered me but man, I felt sorry for the bloke with the dog on a lead who was doing absolutely nothing other than mooching along....his dog looked liked it had just smoked a spliff, it was so laid back
