Have just been looking at my house - no cars in the drive so we were obviously all out when the picture was taken.

Zooming in it looks as though there is a ghostly looking figure peering out of the window of dd2's bedroom. Dh says it is just a trick of the light but it's really spooked me.

Have put the picture on my profile - what do you think?

House was 100 years old last year, so yes, quite old.

We always talked about 'the ghost in the window' from a picture of our cottage which seemed to show a really clear face looking out. When we blew it up a bit we saw it was, after all, just a face-like pattern of leaves reflected in the window.

We made it small again and didn't tell anyone because it would have spoiled the story!

MerryPonymum - leaves! We have several very tall plane trees right opposite our house - that could be the explanation. Phew!

I've just blown it up a bit and it still looks like a ghost/figure. Sorry.

that is definetly not a ghost - my heart leapt a beat - it is definitly one of those 'greys' aliens - it really is. They are known to lerk in houses through the day to check out what us humans get up too. They can become invisible but you can see them in some certain light.

Can kind of make out the image no, although probably only because I was looking for it. Reckon it is a reflection of something from outside.
